“The ability to defend one’s self is paramount to thwarting violent attacks whether they involve a lunatic with a knife or someone using a gun. We’ve seen many such incidents where would-be killers have been stopped cold by good people with guns.
With the stakes higher than ever, all eyes are now on the Texas legislature to see if it will stand for self-defense rights or allow gun owners who are cleared of criminal charges to be punished in civil court for staying alive.
You don’t get to decide whether or not you’re going to be forced to deal with a deadly attack. You can, however, decide how well prepared you will be if and when that happens.
