SHOT Show 2025: X-Vision’s Flex 1 Thermal Reflex Sight

X-Vision Flex 1 Thermal Reflex Sight

One of the cooler things we saw at SHOT was X-Vision’s Flex 1 thermal reflex sight. It’s about the size of an EOTECH HWS and features 1-4X magnification capability.

It has a Picatinny quick release mount so you can pop it on your rifle before heading out to pop destructive porcine invaders. X-Vision says it gives you thermal detection out the 1500 yards and the image quality in a range of color modes was amazingly sharp.

The FLEX 1 is available in three models ranging from $1999 to $3499. The model above is priced at $2499. We’ll have one in hand soon for a full review.

    1. Besides multiple other countries already making them and shipping everywhere? These are competing at the lower end of the middle market not the upper end that in theory would be newer military thermal. NVG analog gen 3 and various improvements qualifies as Chinese/Russian models barely hit gen 2. Digital night vision…..well it’s getting into useful territory to be sure but barely hits gen 2 at the high end.

        1. Had mother same thoughts around 2012-13 when ISIS and the Syria conflict kicked off and they had a lot of gear we always assumed was largely unavailable beyond a few camcorders so did some reading and found out the infantry tech gap closed quite a bit thanks to China.
