The NSSF has done what the AP didn’t…a little investigative journalism. They looked at what allegedly happened, including the gun involved, and have issued a statement in support of Sheehy.
YouTube’s rules are intentionally vague, making it effectively impossible to know what is and is not acceptable if there’s a firearm in your video. Worse, YouTube is constantly reinterpreting its own policies and then applying new “rulings” retroactively.
Guns, from what I can tell, seem to mostly protect the speech of the people while holding the gun. It’s a tool of intimidation and one that I think is actually being irresponsibly and recklessly invoked.
