Mass surveillance is a slippery slope, and history has proven that when a government agency like ATF has the power to secretly track its citizens, it inevitably abuses that power.

If it’s “racist” to require voter ID, what do you call a CCW process that requires a police interview, training course, fingerprinting, sometimes a psych exam, as much as two years wait time, and costs up to $2,000?
Heller said reasonable gun control might entail background checks, age restrictions, shop security measures, and the like. It does not automatically extend to a standardless, temporary disarmament measure.
