Dan is busy being old today and he has left me to put fresh content in front of y’all, which for now means I’m shamelessly celebrating the success of the C4 Foundation charity auction that closed this morning. Black Collar Arms (I’m a co-owner, which is why this falls into the shameless self promotion category) released our brand new Piglet Takedown Chassis and built the very first production unit into a complete rifle, which we auctioned off in support of the C4 Foundation.
And…drumroll please…
SOLD to the highest bidder for $5,775, which means we’ll be donating $5,775 to this great 501(c)(3) charity created to support active duty Navy SEALs and their families. We’re quite pleased at the outcome of the auction and extremely thankful to all of the following companies that donated components and services to fully deck out this Piglet Takedown SBR:
- Brownells: BRN-22 Takedown receiver, plus bolt, recoil spring, and charging handle
- Timney: Drop-in trigger system
- Aimpoint: ACRO C-2 optic
- AccuLite Barrel: 10-inch Takedown barrel
- JK Armament: JK 105 RFX .22Cal suppressor
- Silencer Shop: Tax stamp for suppressor, tax stamp for SBR, two Single Shot Trusts, and eForm 4 filing service
- Capitol Armory: Custom Cerakote work including C4 Foundation logos
- Fixed Sight Media: Photography
- Gunbroker: Auction fees waived so 100% of the auction close price will be donated
Our new Piglet Takedown Chassis system fits all Ruger 10/22 Takedown-compatible receivers and barrels and sports a handful of unique features that makes it the best 10/22-compatible chassis on the market! Check it out on the Black Collar Arms website HERE or email us at manservant@blackcollararms.com if you’re interested in a clone gun or other complete Piglet TD rifle or pistol build. Okay okay, that part was the shameless self promotion. Dan returns soon, I promise.
