The has FBI interrupted what they say is a teen’s detailed plot to use a poison gas bomb at a movie theater at Three Rivers Mall in Kelso, Washington to initiate a murder spree. His plan: use the panic that would ensue from a chlorine gas attack to drive patrons into a “fatal funnel” kill zone where he’d then open fire. The Bureau has arrested the would-be mass murderer and he’s now being held.
While little is known about the suspect, given the description of the juvenile perp as possessing “nihilistic violent extremist ideology,” it would seem he was a hard left radical. Clearly, news of another radicalized leftist wanting to commit a violent terror attack wouldn’t fit the mainstream media’s narratives about such incidents. Perhaps that’s the reason that even though the FBI announced the arrest on May 22, details of the plot is just now appearing in some news outlets. One wonders if the media failed to cover the story because it would reflect poorly on an increasingly violent lunatic fringe.
Whatever the reason for the lack of coverage, the FBI appears to have moved quickly after learning of the threat on Saturday, May 19th. They identified the unnamed suspect the next day and executed search warrants on Tuesday, May 22nd before arresting him.

The FBI Portland Field Office and local law enforcement partners arrested a Columbia County, Oregon, juvenile who conspired to conduct an improvised explosive attack and mass shooting at the Three Rivers Mall in Kelso, Washington, on May 22, 2025.
The teen, whose name will not be released due to an effort to limit public disclosure of a minor, was arrested on the morning of May 22, 2025, by deputies from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
The detailed and imminent attack plans were reported to the FBI on May 19, 2025. Immediately, the FBI began working with our partners to identify the suspect who was responsible for the threat. The subject was identified the next day, May 20, as a juvenile Columbia County resident who shared nihilistic violent extremist ideology and the plans in online chats. The suspect was placed under court-authorized surveillance for public safety concerns, and a federal search warrant was planned and executed on May 22, 2025, prior to the arrest.
The suspect demonstrated the intent and means to carry out their plan, which included precise details such as a map of the mall, a route the shooter would follow, a plan to use an improvised explosive device commonly known as a chlorine bomb to incite panic, and then to shoot mall patrons as they were exiting the movie theatre before ultimately committing suicide at a pre-determined location in the mall.

The FBI thwarted a potential mass shooting by a teenager who planned to set off an explosive at a shopping mall in Washington state and shoot people as they fled the movie theater there, law enforcement leaders said Thursday.
A juvenile boy from Columbia County was arrested May 22 on state charges, according to the FBI. Authorities didn’t release his name.
The shooting was planned for the Three Rivers Crossing in Kelso, Washington, authorities said. The mall is about 50 miles north of Portland off Interstate 5, and has a mix of national retailers including JCPenney, Target and Safeway, local businesses and Regal Cinemas, according to its website.
The National Institute of Health data suggests that about five million Americans have serious mental illness that’s going untreated. This juvenile certainly seems to fit the bill. As such, that’s about five million reasons to make sure you carry your gun everyday. And twice on Sunday.
The kid is 14 years old, he appeared in court yesterday (6/6/2025) and pleaded not guilty.

“The 14-year-old suspect that the FBI detained, allegedly foiling an “imminent” planned mass shooting at the Three Rivers Mall in Kelso, made his first court appearance Friday.
During the hearing, the teenager, still unnamed by authorities, pleaded not guilty, with the judge ultimately deciding to keep him in the detention center while sorting out potential treatment and settling charges.
He faces seven felony and misdemeanor charges, including second-degree attempted murder, first-degree attempted assault, unlawful use of a weapon (knife and firearm), tampering with physical evidence, second-degree disorderly conduct and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.

The state said the teen has had a troubled past and had run-ins with law enforcement for several past instances of suicidal and homicidal ideation.

White people have historically had higher suicide rates. However, the suicide rate has been rising for black adolescents and young adults. Societal rot eventually affects everyone.

“Mental illness” has become such a scapegoat. This is almost always code for drug use/poor family life. We can never hope to fix the rot in our society until we honestly identify it.
They said the 15-year-old girl Abundant Life shooter had “mental illness.” They completely ignored the fact that she began exhibiting “mental health” problems after her parents got divorced. It seems like no one is paying attention to what is really happening in our country. They’re intentionally distracting us from the real problems.
