Protesters in Minneapolis have goaded federal law enforcement incessantly in Minneapolis and surrounding areas these past few weeks. This morning, despite the thermometer plunging into negative digits, the anti-federal immigration crowd was boiling over with emotions and anger — blowing whistles, confronting federal agents, screaming like lunatics at Border Patrol men sweeping up criminal illegal aliens.
Enter a clean-cut gent (protagonist or antagonist, depending on your view of things). He got in the face of a federal Border Control cop. Things escalated into a shoving match followed by full-on attempted arrest.
Mr. Clean Cut resisted as the feds attempt to cuff him. He struggled under a human dogpile of badges and body armor, and eventually managed to draw a sleek SIG Custom Works 9mm pistol tricked out with a matching SIG red dot sight.
The guy under the scrum of feds tried to shoot his way out. Pop-pop-pop. Just like that Clash old song, the law won and Mr. SIG was perforated as agents met the threat with a textbook “neutralize the threat” cacophony of gunfire.
When the smoke cleared, the SIG toter was dead. And yes—there’s video.

It seems that a lot of these protesters think that interfering with federal agents performing their duties is almost like a game. What these people don’t realize is that the feds don’t have their firearms loaded with participation trophies, let alone rubber bullets. They’re carrying real ammunition. Pull a gun on them and those highly trained agents will react as they’ve been trained to do.

Note Gov. Jazz Hands’ claim. “Untrained officers.” Hardly.
It might also be noted that things aren’t calming down after the man’s death. Instead, the rabid mob is attempting to drive the feds from the scene. This won’t end well if any more of them bring their guns to bear in the “protest.”

The officer was highly trained and had been serving as a Border Patrol agent for eight years. The officer has extensive training as a range safety officer and less lethal officer.
As mentioned, this is only the latest attack on law enforcement. Across the country, the men and women of DHS have been attacked, shot at, doxed, had their family members threatened, and, as we have seen, more than 100 vehicle rammings over the past year against federal law enforcement.
