I don’t blame anyone for an evil person’s actions except the perp alone. But I demand they apply the same logic to gun owners and stop trying to strip all law-abiding people of their rights because of the actions of criminals like this. You can’t have it both ways.
“Gun deaths” is a nonsense measure that includes suicides, which are more correlated with climate than gun availability. If you measure based on homicide instead of trying to mislead with suicides, there’s no correlation.
The real test is whether you complain about the exam. If you just go along to get along, you’ll pass. If they discourage you from getting a CCW permit because of it, then all the better as far as they’re concerned. Working as intended.
