Featuring German glass and great, first focal plane reticles, Meprolight’s first foray into magnified rifle optics felt and looked very nice at SHOT Show 2025. They’ve launched with a 1-8x, a 3-18x, and a 6-36x scope.
I loved the lift-to-unlock turrets with zero stop feature and the illuminated reticles were very well thought-out for taking advantage of both the magnification ranges of the individual optics as well as the green illumination.
Magnification adjustment rings were very smooth on all of the floor units. A small throw lever is machined into the ring and they all come with a bolt-on, extended lever.
36x is a lot of magnification!
There’s plenty of detail and holds in the MIL reticle to take advantage of that magnification, too, but they’ve managed to do it without the reticle getting too busy or obscuring too much of the target.
You’ll have to excuse my terrible show floor photos — the glass and reticles, including the brightness levels, looked great in person! More info and reticle diagrams is available on the Meprolight site HERE.
