U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett is the unhinged, screeching Texas Democrat darling who recently lost her bid to become the Democrat nominee for the US Senate. Part of her problem is that she makes AOC look intelligent, cogent and authentic. It seems the Congresswoman hired a wanted fugitive—a fake cop with a significant rap sheet and a death wish—as part of her personal security detail. Now, however, she’s lost him along with the primary bid.
“Mike King” (real name still undisclosed), the police imposter, is dead courtesy of the Dallas PD SWAT team. What brought about his early demise? He pulled a gun during a dramatic standoff with actual police officers.
“King” ran something called Off Duty Police Services, an outfit that supposedly hooking up north Texas cops with side gigs in their off-duty time. But the real cops say King had other habits like using multiple aliases and driving a fake undercover police vehicle kitted out with stolen license plates. Five-oh also had a warrant out for him for impersonating a law enforcement officer.
Despite these glowing qualifications, he somehow wormed his way into Rep. Crockett’s inner circle. Photos capture him lurking beside her at public events, campaign stops during the failed Senate bid, and who knows where else.
Crockett’s campaign records show payments to “Mike King” for “security services” as recently as last year. He even oversaw security teams at downtown Dallas hotels and at his own church. How does a wanted cop impersonator get that close to a sitting Congresswoman? Doesn’t she vet her own security team? Or was something else going on?

This isn’t just sloppy, it’s dangerously incompetent, reckless, and reeks of something far sketchier. The mind boggles at the possibilities, none of them flattering. For a woman who loves to posture as a tough-on-crime real-talking warrior while hurling “ratchet” insults at opponents, entrusting her safety to a gun-toting fraud is the height of stupidity.
Wednesday night, the charade ended in a hospital parking garage. Cops had tracked King down on his impersonation warrant. He then barricaded himself in his vehicle, refused to surrender. When police used tear gas to force him out, he then allegedly pointed a firearm at officers.
The SWAT cops shot him dead. No cops or innocents were hurt, but the hospital was briefly locked down.

A man known publicly as Mike King, who reportedly provided security services for U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), was fatally shot by Dallas Police SWAT officers during an armed standoff Wednesday night.
The incident, as earlier detailed by The Dallas Express, occurred on Wednesday evening, with the suspect not identified at the time. Officers from the police fugitive task force tracked the individual to the 1900 block of Medical District Drive during a surveillance operation, according to Chief Daniel Comeaux. When they tried to approach him, the suspect barricaded himself inside his vehicle.
Dallas police, including their fugitive team, tracked King to the location amid an active warrant for impersonating a law enforcement officer. When King barricaded himself inside his vehicle, SWAT intervened. Officers deployed tear gas to force him out; upon emerging, he allegedly pointed a gun at them, leading to the officer-involved shooting. No officers or bystanders were injured, and the hospital briefly went on lockdown.
The fallout? Questions are being asked about congressional security protocols, Crockett’s vetting (or lack thereof), and what kind of unhinged circus she’s been running.
Despite the fact that she’ll soon be out of a job, this scandal probably isn’t going away soon. Crockett’s already a walking meme factory. Now she’s the Congresswoman who employed a wanted fake cop who died in a blaze of stupidity. Peak dysfunction.
