Defense Department Secretary Pete Hegseth is seeking the death penalty for former Army Maj. Nidal Hasan, who killed 13 people and injured dozens of others at Texas’s Fort Hood nearly 16 years ago.
Hegseth is asking President Trump for final approval for the military execution of Hasan, an ex-Army psychiatrist who gunned down 13 people and wounded 32 others at the Army base near Killeen, Texas, in November 2009.
“I am 100 percent committed to ensuring the death penalty is carried out for Nidal Hasan. This savage terrorist deserves the harshest lawful punishment for his 2009 mass shooting at Fort Hood. The victims and survivors deserve justice without delays,” Hegseth said in a statement to The Hill on Wednesday.
The White House did not comment on the record.
If approved by the White House, it would be the first military execution in more than six decades.

I absolutely support the government executing convicted murderers. If you don’t like the government killing people then support disarming the police. Like I do.
As I’ve said before. The cops kill and wound the innocent and the guilty all the time.
And since they stand down and do nothing. Just issue them night sticks and the training to use them. If they are going to allow riots to continue, there is no need for the cops to have firearms.

I know conservatives like this. Heck, I know left wingers who support the police and some of them do support the death penalty and some do not support the death penalty. I know people who do not support the police (mostly) but support the death penalty.
There are a very large number of left wing people in the country who support the death penalty and police but only if they get to be selective and control who its applied to. For example, right now, there are thousands of left wingers who say they do not support police or the death penalty – but want everyone ‘conservative’ arrested by police and put to death simply because they are ‘conservative’.

The police, thousands of them, where millions of Americans live the cities. They followed orders to stand down. And did nothing while american cities were burned to the ground in 2020. And innocent civilians were murdered were the stood.
So out of a million law enforcement all over the country. Thousands of cops did nothing and allowed riots to destroy and kill.

Military prison is no fun. In regular prison, you can lay in your bunk all day if you want, in military lockup, you’re not allowed to lay down or lean up against anything during daytime…
What took so long? He should have been executed by firing squad a long time ago!
