The ATF hasn’t learned from its mistakes. Neither Ruby Ridge, Waco or any of these bad searches and arrests taught them anything. So ATF will continue making bad arrests and using excessive force, and more Americans will be injured and killed.
The Lantern reached out to Moms Demand Action, which is part of the Everytown gun safety group network, after receiving numerous messages from people who said they were classmates or relatives of Polachek and that the shooting never happened.
There are models of gun that have come out in the last few years, these almost fully 3D-printed semi-automatic rifles, that truly look like something out of science fiction that are really powerful and really accurate.
There’s a gun bill before Congress where the worst-case scenario is that gun laws stay unchanged. Normally that’s the best-case scenario. In fact, Congress has never passed a law that lessened regulations on gun purchases.

Marion Hammer is currently in a legal pissing match with the National Rifle Association…an organization for which she once served as president. The dispute is over the cancellation of a “consulting” contract that paid her hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.
I guess it just reminds me how effectively a huge number of left leaning voters have been lied to about guns and how they work (as well as gun owners, for that matter) and it’s hard to know how to start undoing that damage.
