Rob Reiner, a talented director and a giant in the world of liberal activism, spent much of his life attacking gun rights for the average citizen. He railed against the NRA for years while ignoring gang violence, all while screaming about “gun violence.” What’s more, there wasn’t a gun he didn’t support banning. Gun control was one of his pet causes.
While most people put away that kind of childish thinking (If only we’d ban guns, crime would plummet!) when they reach maturity, Reiner wasn’t among them. The woke mind virus apparently wouldn’t allow that. As such, when someone attacked him and his wife yesterday in their tony Brentwood home, he didn’t have anything except a harsh words with which to defend himself.
When it was all over, Reiner and his wife lay dead in respective pools of blood. And now the LAPD is investigating the homicides. Meanwhile, their deaths are being lamented great losses. But if Reiner — aka “Meathead” from his All in the Family days — hadn’t been a meathead about individual rights and embraced his God-given Second Amendment rights, he might still be with us.
To make matters worse still, Reiner’s son Nick has been arrested for the murders . . .
A son of the celebrated Hollywood director Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner has been arrested after the couple were found dead in their Los Angeles home, according to online jail records viewed on Monday.
The couple were found stabbed to death on Sunday in an apparent homicide, according to the police, friends of the family and two people who were briefed on the case but not authorized to speak publicly.
The son, Nick Reiner, 32, was arrested on Sunday night and is being held in a jail in Los Angeles County on $4 million bail, according to county jail records. No information about criminal charges was immediately available.
Whether the murders were, in fact, committed by his son in an altered mental state or some garden variety LA thug, the bottom line is that Rob Reiner denigrated civilian gun rights. He failed to recognize or embrace the proven benefits of firearm ownership and he found out that eschewing armed self-defense sometimes has consequences. Sometimes deadly consequences.
Mature, thinking people know that the only thing that stops bad people with evil in their hearts is a good guy with a gun. In this case, there was no responsible person in the Reiner home yesterday to stop the bad man and these senseless murders.

It seems that he did not take the advice of actress Jane Fonda and her husband. Who used their personal firearms to defend themselves against a home invasion in the1980s California.
At least he wasn’t a hypocrite. He said nobody had should have had guns. Including himself.

And besides, all the criminals are allowed to go free. Because obviously there are too many people being locked up in the state of California, compared to other societies.

I doubt it would’ve helped. Parents of broken drug addicted mentally ill children never recognize the real threat they pose. Leftists especially. They can’t seem to even grasp the threat that importing millions of angry, militant, bronze-aged Neanderthals’ into the country poses.
