First the roof on which the shooter positioned himself was too treacherous to post Secret Service agents. Now this . . .
Q: The shooter took the gun up with him when he climbed up to the top of the roof or was it already placed there somewhere?
A: I can tell you, which may be relevant to your questions, that, um, and I don’t think this has been reported yet, that the [Trump assassin’s] weapon had a collapsible stock which could explain, uh, why it might have been less easy for people to observe. Because one of the things that we’re finding is the first people to observe him with the weapon was when he was already on the roof and we haven’t yet found anyone with any first-hand observation of him with the weapon walking around beforehand. So that doesn’t mean he wasn’t, obviously, but the collapsible stock is potentially a very significant feature that might be relevant to that.

Anything to keep pushing that AWB narrative.
26″ OAL = safe and cozy
25″ OAL = literally Hitler coming to eat your babies!!!!!
Pretty much but it still plays in NY if the magazine is detachable for semi auto rifle. Totally ignoring logic that a legal upper is easily as long as a M16A1 fixed stock and a backpack that can fit one can fit the other. But woooo scary assault weapon fear mongering.
There was reporting that he hid the weapon there in advance. Have they not figured that part out yet? But they knew for sure that he acted alone inside of 24 hours before they even looked into his phone? Hmm…
How could he? The roof was so sloped his rifle would have slid off.
Still not in the least funny, PG.
I saw it reported that the rifle was “hidden” behind the AC unit and patrols “missed” it.
I use “hidden” and “missed” in quotes because all the pictures I see of the IGR building show absolutely nothing around the perimeter of the building EXCEPT for the HVAC unit. If it was somebodies job to patrol the area then obviously they did NOTHING related to PATROLLING the grounds. Behind the HVAC unit was essentially the ONLY place he could have hidden it.
But who knows, the report I heard could have been wrong.
But really does gross government incompetence surprise anybody who doesn’t have their head up their behind?
Is there ANYTHING that government does that is efficient and effective? (Well you could say that the military was effective (at some times) but DEI is driving a stake through that).
“You can see that the rifle on the bottom, with its stock fully collapsed, is virtually invisible”
Is it in the picture? I can’t see it in the picture, thus the collapsible stock must have rendered it invisible!
Oh! I have a few bridges up for grabs and all you have to do is move them.
