Remember the Nashville school shooter and her twisted, convoluted manifesto? The FBI and local officials tried like hell to keep it under wraps…unlike literally every other wackadoodle shooter who’d ever put pen to paper in the past (think: the Virginia Tech killer, the Norway killer, the LAPD killer, the Isla Vista killer, the Charleston killer, and the Christchurch killer, just to name a few).
But Audrey Hale’s scratchings were somehow different. The trans-identifying elementary school shooter ranted about her “imaginary penis,” said she’d kill to get puberty blockers, and thought she’d become a boy when she died. That kind of content was apparently considered too sensitive to release by the FBI. The agency worked hard to convince a court to keep it from becoming public…until it was finally leaked and published for all the world to read.
The ostensible reason that authorities gave for preventing its release was they didn’t want it to inspire more shootings. No one, of course, believed that, especially after every other manifesto by high profile shooters around the globe had been routinely made public within days.
So imagine our surprise when we learned that the Department of Justice has released a letter reportedly written by would be Trump assassin (V2.0) Ryan Routh offering $150,000 to anyone who will “finish the job” and succeed where he failed.
Dear World,
This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I am sorry I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job. Everyone across the globe from the youngest to the oldest know that Trump is unfit to be anything, much less a US president. US presidents must be at bare minimum anybody the moral fabric that is America and be kind, caring and selfless and always stand for humanity. Trump fails to understand any of ….
It apparently didn’t occur to anyone at the Justice Department that publicizing Routh’s letter encouraging more assassination attempts with an offer to pay a “successful” assassin might be a problem. Are they not as concerned about potential copycats here as they were when they held onto Audrey Hale’s lunatic ravings? Or does the highly politicized Department of Justice have other reasons for releasing Routh’s incediary ravings…while there’s still time before November?
DOJ wouldn’t be terribly upset to lose a certain viable candidate.
Hmmm…..That looks like Merrick Garland’s handwriting.
“It apparently didn’t occur to anyone at the Justice Department that publicizing Routh’s letter encouraging more assassination attempts with an offer to pay a “successful” assassin might be a problem.”
That was no ‘innocent error’, if someone succeeds, they solve a very real problem for them, the probability of Trump winning, and Trump picking the SCotUS seats to replace aging Thomas and Alito.
That would be a true horror-show for them, a young conservative SCotUS with 2 aging Leftist Scum ™ that may expire on Trump’s watch.
Just imagine, the diabetic Kagan kicking-off from a stroke resulting in a 7-2 SCotUS, in *our* favor.
If you thought the calls to ‘Stack the Court’ were loud before , you ain’t heard nothing yet, if Trump wins… 😉
