One Year Later, Secret Service Suspends Six Agents On Duty During Butler, PA Assassination Attempt

The U.S. Secret Service’s multiple bumbling failures in Butler, Pennsylvania last summer have earned six agents suspensions without pay nearly a year later. A cascading series of incompetence by team DEI that day allowed a man to get a rifle to get within about a hundred yards of a former President while he was speaking at a campaign rally. The social misfit then took multiple shots at Trump, grazing his ear, wounding two bystanders, and killing another before being shot and killed by return fire from police and Secret Service snipers.

ABC News has the reporting:

Six agents were suspended by the U.S. Secret Service for failures connected to last year’s attempted assassination of then-presidential candidate Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, an official told ABC News.

The personnel moves were confirmed four days shy of the anniversary of the July 13, 2024, shooting incident that left Trump’s ear bloodied.

Corey Comperatore, a firefighter attending Trump’s campaign rally that day, died in the attack.

Countersnipers in Trump’s Secret Service who were on-site killed the shooter, identified by the FBI as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Once again the media fails to accurately report what happened. It was a local police SWAT team member who took the initial shot that stopped the shooter. The Secret Service then fired to end the threat. You can’t hate the media enough.

In the aftermath of the shooting, an independent review by the Department of Homeland Security showed a series of law enforcement breakdowns had created an environment that left Trump vulnerable to a would-be assassin.

“The Secret Service does not perform at the elite levels needed to discharge its critical mission,” the report found. “The Secret Service has become bureaucratic, complacent, and static even though risks have multiplied and technology has evolved.”

Biden’s Secret Service Director, Kim Cheatle, prioritized “diversity, equity and inclusion” in staffing and running the agency rather than hiring the best and most competent candidates. As a result, people died.

From NBC News . . .

In an interview with ABC News before she resigned, Cheatle said there was a “short period” of time between when the gunman was initially flagged as suspicious and when he began shooting. A Senate briefing later revealed that Secret Service agents first spotted the gunman on a rooftop 10 minutes before Trump took the stage and 20 minutes before he opened fire. Secret Service personnel also faced criticism for how long it took to remove Trump from the stage after he was shot.

Thankfully, by the grace of God, President Trump survived the assassination attempt.

Meanwhile, the Secret Service’s DEI culture conspicuously failed the nation and almost precipitated a political catastrophe. That included then-Director Cheatle. She had previously ensured the safety of soda and potato chips before being appointed Director, instituting DEI-grade hires, DEI-grade standards, and DEI-grade performance.

“Does that include the chickie who’s gun couldn’t find its way back into the holster?”

It would have really put the icing on the ‘dei incompetence cake’ had she shot herself via negligent discharge.

Booger, you know the Demotard spin machine would have immediately called for “accountability by the gun manufacturer for such an epic failure during a time a crisis”.

Which displays the hypocrisy of the entire Biden presidency.
Where was that accountability from them then ?

Why of course they would, or something similar or something else – anything to spin the narrative away from their failures and Marxist Socialism.

        2. Speaking of which… the FBI just released their report saying Sig P320s definitely CAN and DO fire without the trigger being pulled.

          SIG = Self Injury Gun

Sure, but little girls got to look up to a girl boss for inspiration. I’ve been told that’s what matters.

Saboteurs Busted for Spiking Tires of LA ICE Vehicles. But Wait, What About Those Bags?

“Four saboteurs arrested by Border Patrol for spiking their tires while on an immigration operation on Tuesday have been identified. And, you could say, they left their seeming benefactor, a government-subsidized NGO, holding the bag.

The four saboteurs, including one Trantifa man, are accused of using homemade spikes to vandalize the vehicles and obstruct federal border and ICE agents from conducting a raid at a Home Depot in Van Nuys.

‘BREAKING: Border Patrol releases names & photos of suspects accused of using devices to spike their vehicles in LA today. The suspects were in possession of a tote bag w/ CHIRLA branding on it that had more spikes in it. CHIRLA is the major anti-ICE activist network in LA, and it has received $34 million in taxpayer funding. Law enforcement sources tell me that one of the suspects is transgender. They are all now facing felony charges.’

Get a load of those spikes. Those are well-made. I wonder if these guys get DIY tips from their SEIU or ILWU buddies. Those guys are expert monkey-wrenchers.

These particular spikes were found in a bag one of the men was carrying. Hey, wait a minute, what does it say on that bag? CHIRLA?

CHIRLA stands for the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles. This is the group that helped call out the mob for the first riot, stood with their buddy, Mayor Karen Bass, to denounce the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, and also receives $34 million-plus, mostly from California state taxpayers.

We can’t wait to find out what CHIRLA’s excuse is for the saboteurs being in possession of one of its bags full of spikes.

As you probably read in my story Who’s Paying for the Violent L.A. Protests Against ICE? You Are, CHIRLA is the non-profit pass-through organization that does the left’s bidding under a cloak of ‘charity.’

Legal Immigrants Say No Amnesty for Illegals.

… Trump said recently, ‘We got to give the farmers the people they need, but we’re not talking amnesty.’ Of course what Trump doesn’t seem to be aware of, and what corrupt business and farm owners don’t want him to know, is that many businesses, farms, hotels, and construction companies deliberately hire illegal aliens rather than Americans willing to take the jobs, because it is cheaper and illegals will put up with worse working conditions.

This comes at a time when blue-collar American male unemployment has previously been increasing. And many legal immigrants, people who put in years of effort to come to the United States and be part of the American dream, are as opposed to amnesty as lifelong American citizens are.

Mexican immigrants saved The US Flag from an anti-America protester. Most legal immigrants I know love this country more than many people who were born here.

‘I’m Mexican, my family are immigrants, you’re not burning that flag!’

The protection failure at Butler, Pennsylvania was so egregious that I believe intentionality, rather than incompetence, is a more likely explanation.
