ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT 2.0: Trump Safe After Secret Service Exchanges Gunfire With Another Assassin

President Trump had his birdie putt interrupted by gunfire at his West Palm Beach Florida golf coure Sunday afternoon.  A lunatic with a scoped SKS rifle exchanged shots with the US Secret Service roughly two holes ahead of Trump’s foursome. The would-be assassin dropped his rifle and fled. He was later captured alive by local law enforcement on I-95.

The FBI and CNN both have reported this as an assassination attempt.

The incident marks the second attempt to kill President Trump in almost exactly two months after a social misfit nearly succeeded in his attempt to take out the Republican nominee in Pennsylvania back in July.

From PJ Media:

Former President Donald Trump appears to have survived a second assassination attempt. Shots were fired in West Palm Beach, Fla., just outside his golf course, prompting Secret Service agents to take Trump to safety “after agents opened fire on a man who was spotted with what may have been a gun while the former president was on the links, according to law enforcement sources.”

“Officials believe the shots fired at Trump International Golf Club were intended for former President Donald Trump, according to sources familiar on the matter,” CNN reported.

Sean Hannity, who had been invited to golf with Trump on Sunday but didn’t end up participating, has spoken with Trump and explained how events transpired swiftly and how the Secret Service responded with remarkable efficiency.

According to Hannity, Trump and real estate investor Steve Witkoff were about to putt on the fifth hole when they heard gunshots. “They both had exactly the same story, which was that they heard pop pop, pop pop,” Hannity recounted. Witkoff provided additional details, emphasizing the immediate response from the Secret Service. Within seconds, agents had surrounded the former president, shielding him from potential danger. Hannity noted, “You had snipers with tripods. They knew the direction where the shots had been fired, and they had eyes on the location.”

“I have confirmed with both the president and with Mr. Witkoff that the gun has been found,” Hannity said. “They identified it as an AK 47.”

The US Secret Service takes security seriously at Trump’s golf course, we’re told.

Turns out their preparations for keeping the course secure for Trump remain prudent and well-founded.

      “AK? Scope? Lunatic for sure.”

Eh, it takes some work, but you can retrofit a scope on an AK-platform firearm.

It pisses me off that Kalashnikov never bothered to configure the platform for ease of adding a scope, but I fully understand why they didn’t.

It simply wasn’t necessary, and it would have made it more expensive to manufacture. The Russians took the lesson of “The best is the enemy of the good enough” to heart. They could always afford to throw more human capital at an enemy to try to achieve a combat victory, as we see in Ukraine today.

It sure sucks for the grunt, tho… 🙁

They let a gun that close? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

The Secret Service obviously couldn’t care less about his safety. They want him dead. Trump really should just buy his own security, at this point… 🙁

  2. Another radicalized leftist trying kill someone. Same stuff, different day. The MSM will fail to investigate why he was radicalized because they would be implicated.

    1. “Some people should know better.”

Since I’ve never owned either platform, at least I have an excuse for not knowing the difference, jack-hole… 🙁
