Okay, okay, this is another thing I “found” at SHOT Show this year but isn’t actually new. The Grizzly Coolers Alpha hunting blind originally launched in late 2023 then had a big upgrade last year. Now I’ve finally stumbled onto it.
Grizzly cut their teeth with rotomolded, thickly-insulated coolers that compete with the likes of Yeti but are made (yes, including the rotomolding) here in the U.S. of A. They quickly expanded into other products, including many other rotomolded products like the Alpha hunting blind.
If a hunting blind is of interest to you, I highly recommend jumping over to the Grizzly Alpha hunting blind product page and reading through it, because this is thing is extremely well thought-out. With its powdercoated steel frame, roof truss system, and one-piece rotomolded design this thing should outlast other hunting blinds by decades.
Included and optional features like rubber floor mats, insulation, power ventilation, super nice windows, interior lighting, shelves and racks, seats, scent control, absolutely silent hinges and latches on the door and windows, concealment shades, and much more make the Alpha a seriously usable, tricked-out hunting blind.
Prices start under $4,000 and go up to nearly $6,000 if you completely trick it out with options and tower systems, so it ain’t as cheap as building a blind from plywood and scavenged lumber like many of the blinds I’ve hunted in. But, damn, this thing is nice!
I’m not looking for a hunting blind. But that is something I’d like to put to use in another application if I could figure out what application because it just looks too cool to not use somewhere for something.
