The New Charter Arms Pathfinder II – Because Everyone Needs a .22LR Revolver

If you don’t have a wheel gun chambered in .22, you don’t know what you’re missing. They’re inexpensive to shoot, all kinds of un at the range, great for training, hunting or plinking and they’re ideal for new shooters. I’ve lost count of the number of first-timers I’ve handed a .22 revolver who came away wearing huge grins. They’re simple, noobs understand them, the single action pull is light and they seem to get on target and having fun faster than with a semi-auto.

Charter Arms is adding to their Pathfinder rimfire series of revovlers with the new Pathfinder II . . .

Charter Arms, manufacturers of affordable, 100% American-made revolvers for more than 60 years, is proud to announce the introduction of the new Pathfinder II .22 double-action/single-action revolver, chambered in .22LR (Long Rifle).

“We couldn’t be happier to offer an update to our hugely successful Pathfinder Target model,” said Nick Ecker, Owner, President and CEO, Charter Arms. “Customers have praised its reliability, accuracy, and suitability for both novice and experienced shooters. It’s a great option for plinking, target practice, and even small game hunting.”

The new Pathfinder II .22LR features a 3.5″ extruded stainless-steel vented barrel and cylinder. The frame and cylinder are crafted from 7075 anodized aircraft aluminum. Other features include an orange aluminum ramp front sight for quick target acquisition and adjustable rear for accuracy, and compact rubber grip. The eight-shot capacity gives you plenty of trigger time before the next reload. Offered in 3 models, this .22LR revolver is designed for both experienced shooters and beginners, making it an ideal choice for sport shooting, small game hunting and personal protection. Available models include:

        • 12235 – Black Passivate

  1. I do not have any revolvers and do not know much about them, but I was surprised that the roundy, spinny thingy holds only 8 shots. Those 22 caliber cartridges are so small, I thought it would hold, like, a hundred, maybe even more.

Maybe they should put two of those roundy, spinny things on there, back-to-back.

    Just sayin.

    1. Try one you might like one! Many of us older shooters cut our teeth with these. I used a S&W M10 at the academy, it is what it was in 1983. That all changed in 1984 when Herr Glock introduced his G17. Sadly, today the revolver is highly relevent but not taught in classes

      1. I bought a police trade in M10 years ago. It is my favorite range toy and I use it as my house gun on occasion. I prefer a revolver for most jobs.

I do have a g19 for just in case. But it’s not as much fun as my revolvers.

    2. I remember seeing photos of a revolver from the 1800’s. It had two huge spinning thingies with two barrels. Looked like something that would make a modern pol piss themselves and faint.

  2. These new guns and the new punch 22 ammo and it’s ballistics, I think are going to make a serious challenge to EDC choices.

I really like my Charter Arms 32HR magnum snubby. The “off-duty” hammerless 6 shot. A light weight gun. The ballistics are outstanding.

The 2A is for everyone including the poor. The firearms media spends way to much time on expensive guns. Charter Arms and Hi Point are not in that special club.

Advancement in ammo technology and design are making small bore guns much more effective.

    Btw
The best 22LR ammo is expensive.
