Wiley X has launched a new seven-SKU Limited Edition Camo Collection, which includes the oft-forgotten Kryptek camo pattern, and is priced from $215 to $270, with every order including a free three-month onX Hunt Elite membership for new onX customers.
Every Limited Edition order comes with a free 3-month onX Hunt Elite membership, the mapping trusted by hunters across all 50 states and Canada.
The membership isn’t applied at checkout. Wiley X states that buyers receive the offer in their order confirmation email and follow an included link to activate it. onX lists Elite as its top membership tier at $99.99 per year or $14.99 per month.
Elite covers land ownership data for all 50 states and Canada and bundles Huntin’ Fool research services, onX Hunt Research Tools draw odds, and HuntReminder application deadlines, along with TerrainX terrain analysis, trail camera integration, and route building. The company’s Premium tiers, at $34.99 and $49.99 annually, cover one and two states, respectively.
The Wiley X eyewear spans three existing Wiley X frame platforms rather than new hunting-specific designs. The WX Founder is offered in Kryptek Raid, Kryptek Obskura Skyfall, and Forged Carbon, all at $270. The WX JAKL is offered in Obskura Nox and Obskura Skyfall at $270, and in Raid at $215. The WX Ovation (my favorite of the bunch) is a single SKU at $246, finished in matte black with green accent temples rather than a camouflage pattern.
The Founder in Raid and Forged Carbon and the JAKL in Obskura Nox ship with CAPTIVATE Polarized Black Mirror lenses. Both Obskura Skyfall dips use CAPTIVATE Polarized Tungsten Mirror. The Ovation uses CAPTIVATE Polarized Grey. The JAKL in Raid is the only non-polarized SKU in the collection, fitted with CAPTIVATE Grey.
Safety ratings differ slightly by frame selection. Wiley X lists the JAKL to ANSI Z87.1+ optical clarity and high mass and high velocity impact standards, plus MIL-PRF-32432A ballistic safety standards. The Founder and Ovation are listed to ANSI Z87.1+ only.
Construction carries over from the standard production versions. The Founder and Ovation sit in Wiley X’s Active 6 series with a flatter 6-base lens profile, permanent and removable side shields, shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate lenses, dual-injected rubber temples, and Triloid nylon frames. The JAKL uses a high-wrap frame with dual-injected nose pads and temples. All three are listed for medium and large head sizes.
Frames are finished individually. Wiley X states that each is custom dipped and that no two pairs are exactly alike. Wiley X adds that limited editions are made to order and that cancellations, returns, and exchanges cannot be accommodated once an order enters processing. The exclusion applies to the company’s ID.me program, which normally offers 30% off for verified veterans, military, and first responders.
