SecureIt True Safe

I’ve owned a couple of SecureIt’s gun cabinets. They’re well made, nicely designed, easily assembled and simple to move yourself. Their CradleGrid system gives you lots of options for configuring the interior to suit your guns and how you want to store them. Now SecureIt has announced a new full-on steel gun safe they’re calling the TRUE Safe. With their CradeleGrid system, the TRUE Safe is a 1200-pound fire-rated steel  gun safe that includes shipping, delivery, and installation.

SecureIt Tactical, Inc., a global leader in military weapon storage and one of America’s fastest-growing gun safe companies, is excited to announce the launch of The TRUE Safe, a groundbreaking security safe designed to provide the highest level of protection against fire and theft. More than just a gun safe, The TRUE Safe offers a secure environment for firearms, jewelry, important documents, and other valuables—providing peace of mind for homeowners and collectors alike.

Constructed with double-walled steel filled with a concrete composite, The TRUE Safe offers unparalleled strength and durability. Its robust construction not only provides superior theft resistance, but also ensures true fire protection, boasting an industry-leading 2-hour, 20-minute fire rating. Designed as a home vault, it safeguards valuables from both unauthorized access and fire hazards.

“We are thrilled to introduce The TRUE Safe,” said Tom Kubiniec, CEO of SecureIt Gun Storage. “The gun safe industry makes exaggerated claims about fire ratings and security, so we decided to produce a true safe and put the matter to rest. The TRUE Safe is exactly what the name implies—built with double-walled steel filled with a concrete composite, offering genuine fire protection and the highest level of security.”

The TRUE Safe is engineered to provide secure firearm storage while ensuring quick and hassle-free access. The interior back wall features SecureIt’s innovative CradleGrid system, allowing for unlimited customization without the need for tools. Each safe comes equipped with eight cradles and four dual bases, securely storing up to eight long guns, with an optional high-capacity kit expanding storage to 22 firearms.

Key Features:

  1. I Haz A Question

Hmm. Features a biometric lockset. Keypad, fingerprint scanner, USB port, etc. That means electronic, not a fully mechanical manual tumbler.

    Pass.

    Wait…I meant…hell no, hard pass.

    1. I hadn’t read even that much, once I saw no temperature rating. Last time I checked, 20+ years ago, most safes were rated to keep paper from burning, 360F or so, but not electronics, because that’s where solder starts to melt. If that thing is packed with electronics, I doubt you’d be able to open it after a fire, and if you’ve red dots, thermal scopes, computer backup drives, or other electronics inside, you may as well kiss them all goodbye.
