On a quiet Wednesday night in Florence, South Carolina, 23-year-old Raheem Raykwain Brantley decided he wanted some cash. But he didn’t want to get a real job and wait for a paycheck. Jobs are for suckers, after all. So he slapped on a mask and some gloves, then strutted into a little vape shop called the Smokers Town where the big money is.
Brantley waved his gun at an employee like it was a magic talisman and demanded money. He had a lot of swagger for a man who apparently hadn’t watched a western movie or even an episode of the Lone Ranger all the way to the end.
Then came the plot twist, per WFXB. While busily stuffing bills into a bag, Brantley gave the clerk a generous window of opportunity.
The clerk casually retrieved a handgun and opened fire. Multiple rounds later, the aspiring criminal staggered out the door, leaking badly. He made it to a grassy area behind the store and immediately began his never-ending dirt nap.
Not-so-bright young Raheem probably should have spent more time in school and church rather than embracing the thug lifestyle. The grassy knoll behind Smokers Town isn’t where you want to take your last breath. Justice, it turns out, can be both swift in the armed robbery business.
Let this serve as a public service announcement to every aspiring thug in Florence, South Carolina and the nation at large. If your master plan includes robbing innocent people at gunpoint, you stand a decent chance of becoming a cautionary tale with a punchline.
Of course, the DSA-dominated Democrats would ban gun ownership for Americans entirely. Not for criminals, though. They always find a way to get guns, no matter how many gun control laws are on the books. The law-abiding, however, would become victims. Hacks like Kamala Harris, Queen of Word Salads, don’t care. They just want to take our guns and leave us defenseless while they live behind armed guards.
The Smokers Town employee reportedly remains uncharged. As he should.
