Armed Citizen Opens Fire on Idaho In-N-Out Burger Spree Shooter

From Newsweek . . .

A man armed with a handgun exchanged gunfire with the suspect during Saturday’s deadly shooting at an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho, forcing the gunman to take cover, according to an eyewitness cited in multiple reports.

Lane Koehn told The Associated Press he saw a man carrying an AR-style rifle emerge near the drive-thru on Saturday afternoon before another man pulled a pistol and fired at theΒ gunman.

Koehn said the man with the pistol then stayed to help an injured In-N-Out employee until paramedics arrived.

Nothing to see here. Just another (as yet unidentified) good guy with a (suppressed) gun putting himself in danger to challenge an active killer.

The shooter killed two and wounded seven. He’s dead, reportedly after committing suicide. But as in all of these situations, there’s too much chaos, misinformation and outright bullshit being spread around in the immediate aftermath.

The facts of what really happened — the shooter’s identity, his probable motivation, the citizen’s name and how much he contributed to slowing or stopping the carnage — will come out in time.

Watch this space.
