Two West Virginia National Guard members shot Wednesday near the White House have died, the state’s governor said.
Governor Patrick Morrisey confirmed their deaths in a social media post.
“We are in ongoing contact with federal officials as the investigation continues,” he said.
A suspect who was in custody also was shot and has injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, according to a law enforcement official not authorized to discuss the matter publicly and who spoke to AP on condition of anonymity. One National Guard member was shot in the head, according to a person familiar with the details of the incident who spoke to AP on condition of anonymity.
The shooting happened at the corner of 17th and H Streets in the northwest quadrant of the city, roughly two blocks northwest of the White House.
Emergency medical responders transported all three victims to a hospital, according to Vito Maggiolo, the public information officer for the DC Fire and Emergency Services. The Joint DC Task Force confirmed they responded to the incident after reports of the shooting. The Metropolitan Police Department also said they were on-scene.
The libertarians liberals and the Leftists love this. Strange they still only support the cops killing to protect government property.

“A 29-year-old man whose last known location was in Bellingham, Washington, has been identified as the suspect in today’s shootings, four senior law enforcement sources told NBC News.
Rahmanullah Lakanwal has been identified as the suspect, said the four senior law enforcement sources, who have been briefed on the investigation.”
Bellingham, Washington state is a hard-left area, politically….

It was a targeted ‘ambush style attack’ terrorism attack. This animal was laying in wait around a corner, he came around the corner and attacked – the troops reacted to the sudden ambush and shot him but not before two of the troops were hit. He used a handgun.
Why are all these troops not armed? Apparently, only one of this group of troops was armed with a firearm, one of the troops had to use a knife to defend against this attacker then the troop with the gun shot the attacker.
During the attack the attacker was screaming out one of the far left wing and democrat party favorite things, he was yelling out “Allahu Akbar”
Ok, it turns out these troops are normally armed. But a couple of sources are reporting one of the troops used a knife.

Here’s a crazy idea. Let’s stop importing people from s_hole countries. If these people were so great, like the lying libs keep telling us, then their own countries wouldn’t be such s_holes. Let’s be extremely selective of who we allow to stay in our country.
The left was against the Iraq war. Because they said you could not impose a jeffersonian style democracy on a society that had never known democracy before.
