Two social misfits threaten to assassinate president Trump recently. Both attracted the attention of the Secret Service, but had two very different outcomes. First, Phillip Wharton, a transgendered man who goes by “Sadie” earned himself (herself?) an arrest. Then a retired community college professor got a visit for his threat delivered at a Warren, Michigan city council meeting.
What is it with unhinged lunatics suffering from Trump derangement syndrome? Their social media algos must be dialed way into crazyland for them to feel emboldened enough to publicly threaten to kill any political leader, much less the President.
Let’s start with our latest transgender horror story. “Sadie,” otherwise known as Phillip Richard Wharton, age 20, went full Buffalo Bill, saying he was going to kill Trump and “wear his face as a mask.” Right-o there Mr. Internet Tough Guy. He’s now held without bail on charges of threatening a federal official.

The Post Millennial has more on our not-so-tough Internet chest thumper:
According to court documents, Wharton made multiple social media posts in August and September of 2025, threatening to kill the president.
One post on August 19, 2025, included a photo and read, “What the guy in the White House sees after I kill the US PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICAN AND WEAR HIS FACE AS A MASK.” A September 23 post read, “My name is Sadie Online. I am going to kill the president tomorrow. This is not a joke, but a confession admissible in a court of law.”
A criminal complaint revealed that the US Capitol Police alerted the Secret Service after the first post. Investigators later linked the account to Wharton.
The retired community college perfesser said he’s going to shoot Trump (nothing about wearing his face). “I’m not kidding,” he proclaimed at a Warren, Michigan city council meeting.
Retired professor says he’s ordered a gun to sh**t President Trump.
He said this Tuesday during a Warren City Council meeting in Michigan. He says he’s not kidding.
Arrest and prosecute this maniac immediately.

Guess who showed up to chat with Professor Toughguy the next day? And guess who had a gun…but doesn’t now?
The Midwesterner has the answer:
The day after retired professor Wesley Arnold told the Warren City Council he intended to shoot President Donald Trump, the U.S. Secret Service was at his door.
“I have ordered a high-power ATL 36X arriving shortly, which I hope to actually use to shoot the President of the United States, I’m not kidding,” Arnold told the council at its Tuesday meeting. “This is a very high powerful item, and its great for a headshot at a distance. And I didn’t want it to be delivered by drone, because I wouldn’t want something like that to be in the wrong hands.”
On Wednesday, Arnold clarified his remarks to WJBK following a visit to his home by Secret Service agents, who reportedly removed a handgun from the residence.
“I’m in the habit of saying you shoot a headshot, or you shoot a picture rather than you take a picture,” Arnold told the news site, adding that an ATL 36X is a long-distance camera lens.
“That can let you take a picture from a very long distance away,” he said. “I have no intent of shooting any public official except with a telephoto lens.”
Uh huh. The deranged old professor said he just wanted to use a powerful lens to take a “headshot” photograph of the President. Sure buddy. Fox2 says the Secret Service seized the one firearm he owns, a handgun. They haven’t formally charged him…yet.
Disturbed wackos such as these may not realize it, but threats against the President (or any other elected public official) are serious crimes. Threats against federal elected officials are investigated rigorously by the Secret Service or the FBI, regardless of context or claimed intent. Encouraging reporting such threats is crucial. Tips can be submitted anonymously via the Secret Service website, local law enforcement, or hotlines. Multiple attempts on political figures’ lives underscore why zero tolerance applies. Even “jokes” or hyperbolic online posts can cross the legal line if they reasonably cause fear of harm.
These cases show the system is responding with arrests and charges where evidence supports them. Political violence or incitement has no place in a civil society, and holding people accountable protects everyone. If you’re aware of specific threats, reporting them directly to authorities is the best step.

More left wing mental illness and trans violence.
Violent left wingers including their ANTIFA branch play the FAFO game – and Minnesota cops actually finally did something and handed out the FO prizes: Minnesota cops arrest 54 in crackdown on anti-ICE rioters outside federal building.
