Nidal Hasan, the condemned Islamist who murdered 14 people and wounded 32 others in an act of jihad at Fort Hood, Texas in 2009, is scheduled to be executed by firing squad at 1:00pm on December 3. The execution will take place at Fort Hood.
How will the Army carry out the shooting of Hassan? The current regulation doesn’t specify the process. The Provost Marshal General will have to come up with a plan. The plan will then have to be approved and survive a court challenge.
The above procedure is how it was done in the past. If I was advising Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, I would recommend that he direct the Provost Marshal to adapt the old plan with a few modifications because the piece of garbage who’s being executed is in wheelchair.
I would also do some deeper research to see if these procedures had ever been successfully challenged in court or, better yet, upheld. The plan will undoubtedly provide the basis for one of the flurry of frivolous, last-minute appeals and petitions designed to keep the murderous, semi-human trash breathing.
Planning considerations will include the large number of witnesses, because victims and next of kin get to be there. I would probably do it out on a remote firing range with berms that would screen it off from outsiders, but where there would be plenty of room for the witnesses, maybe even seating. I would be alert to the possibility of drones.
I would also consider issuing M14s to the firing squad. A 5.56mm round would probably do the job, but why take any chances? Go with 7.62mm.
I would also see that the firing squad trains, trains and trains some more. You want this done like clockwork. If someone is going to falter, you want find that out before the big day.
I would have at least five alternates and an assistant NCOIC. Another challenge would be selecting the members of the firing squad. You’re going to have a lot of people volunteering for it. I would consider giving preference to soldiers who were at Fort Hood on the day of the murders.
You need to screen out the nuts and weirdos to the extent that Hegseth’s policies haven’t already done that. You’re looking for squared-away troops who are willing to take on the job because it’s a job that needs to be done. While people wanting a piece of this guy is understandable, this has to be done coldly and professionally.
One final note. There will be no Christa Pike problem under the old procedures. If the volley of 7.62mm lead doesn’t kill him, the squad sergeant then shoots him in the head with his pistol. He should be issued a 1911A1 .45. Again, to maximize the chances of success.

Let the military perform all executions. They are very effective and efficient at killing. Not killing this man is a crime against the victims and a crime against the american society.

Drones, and distance-observation by people/media, are exactly the reason why you would not want to do it outdoors in the open. You know the left wing media and left wing TDS ghouls are gonna want to see what’s going on, they already enjoy ‘dancing in the blood of the innocent’ but now one of their favored Islam types they think are saints and hero’s is gonna pay for his heinous crime and betrayal so of course they are going to want video of their martyr departing to join his 72 virgins.
It would be best to do it indoors – if they had to they could erect a tent structure to enclose it in an outdoors area. Views from drones and distance-observation by people/media would be cut off.

So no all female execution team? How does someone on death row actually get to choose that? Brilliant move by her btw. She knew incompetence was her only chance of survival.
