Remember When All the Smartest People Said the Bruen Decision Would Result in Bodies Stacked Like Cordwood?

New York Skyline Abstract Bigstock

New York City has tied its record for the longest stretch without a homicide in recorded history.

The city went 12 calendar days — Nov. 25 to Dec. 7 — without a homicide, according to New York Police Department data.

That stretch — which ties a record set in 2015 — was ended when a 38-year-old man was shot and killed in the stairwell of a city-run apartment building in the Bronx on Sunday night.

During the first 11 months of the year, New York City saw its lowest number of shooting incidents (652) and shooting victims (812) in recorded history, according to NYPD data.

  1. Still trying to find those ‘rivers of blood’ in the streets the anti-gun screamed would appear if constitutional carry was enacted in what are now constitutional carry (permitless carry) states. Now I guess I’ll widen my search to include “Bodies Stacked Like Cordwood”.

  2. An interesting phenomenon, to me: Libtards and anti-liberty folks are always predicting doom and the end of life as we know it if any even slightly conservative initiative actually gets through the political process and gets implemented . . . and I can’t think of a single one of them that has been even remotely predictive or accurate.

You would think that intelligent people would not that trend, and immediately discount most such predictions, but the Dimocrat party seems to survive exclusively on such pearl-clutching, inaccurate nonsense. And blathering idiots like MajorSkidmarks eat it up like candy, and spew it out like explosive diarrhea. Lather, rinse, repeat. Dimocrat voters must be the stupidest people on planet Earth.

  3. Remember when the “smartest” people said you would k-i-l-l grandma unless you got the vax? Or when they said newborns needed the Hep B vax in case they started sleeping around before you got them home? The “smartest” people were always FOS.
