Nothing Sells Guns Like Civil Unrest

LA Los Angeles riots

Call it the Summer of Love, 2025 Edition if you will, but the civil unrest in large cities across America has not gone unnoticed. Anyone not living under a rock has seen the images of astroturfed crowds, organized by at least one NGO called CHIRLA, funded in large part by taxpayers (at least before USAID was shut down) damaging and destroying property in an orgy of violence.

Gun stores no doubt will welcome the inevitable influx of new customers seeking self-defense tools courtesy of the anarchy and violence by “mostly peaceful” protesters.

If there really was a Trump Slump at gun stores across America, that likely ended this weekend thanks to the outbreak of civil unrest, particularly in Los Angeles and New York. Nothing sells guns like people seeing police unable or unwilling to curtail rioting, looting, and general civil disorder. People nationwide know that when seconds count, the cops might not be there at all they can’t begin to protect the community as a whole.

This weekend, as a mob of over 1000 threatened to overrun a federal facility, the LAPD didn’t respond for two hours, despite multiple calls pleading for help.

If LAPD needs two hours to respond to a high-priority call like that, how long would it take for them to send a car or two for thugs breaking into your home and attacking your daughter?

If “just call 911” doesn’t work, that’s a pretty helpless feeling from those who don’t own the great equalizer. While Moms Demand Action claim that people never use guns defensively, the American people know that’s a lie. They know the only thing that stops bad people with evil in their hearts is a good guy with a gun.

And Americans have heard the “mostly peaceful” riot propaganda before.

When your local police department tries to gaslight residents when they can see the plumes of smoke, even formerly mainstream Democrats can read the tea leaves.

Meanwhile, California’s leftist Governor Gavin Newsom is letting his freak flag fly – courting the American far left for his presumed run for the Democrat nomination for President in 2028.

As his state burns yet again, he’s not flaming mad about the Mexican flag-waving violent thugs. Instead, he’s red-faced over President Trump’s calling up a couple of thousand of Cali’s National Guard troops to maintain order.

Trump has threatened to send active duty Marines into the fray if the insurrection violence continues. Newsom calls that “deranged behavior.” The Governor’s pretty good at psychological projection. Remember that Newsom sent police to arrest people for walking their dogs on a beach or swimming by themselves during the COVID madness.

So yes, gun sales will be spiking. And those who hate guns can will be able to thank the rioters and criminals who are ostensibly trying to block the deportation of violent illegal alien gang members and criminals.

For those of us who already own guns, it would probably be a good time to clean them and maybe get some range time in. The civil disorder may spread just as happened five years ago during the Summer of Love, 2020 Edition.

Arrest a few of those Democrats calling for literal insurrection. Convict them in a court of law in America’s hesrtland to give them a fair trial – kind of like Dems didvwith the Jan 6th protesters. Imprison them for 20-40 years. That and hickory shampoo for the losers and social misfits running around destroying stuff.

a bunch have been arrested, along with the democrats illegal alien money man that was funneling the money from the left wing organization funding this attack on America.

  2. Democrats are the best gun salesmen. They hate law and order, and they hate America. They’re literally the party of Satanists, pedos, groomers, and criminal apologists. Are the Democrats kicking off soft coup 3.0? Is the sky blue?

California is the best advertisement for not electing Gov. Newsom as president. I have my doubts that he could even make it through the primary.

Don’t forget it was california state senate president Tom Ammiano. A proud h#0m”0zexu@!. Who wrote the law making everyone in california go from 3 days to 10 days. To wait to get one gun a month.

      R 0 p e and st@lking victims get to wait 10 days as well.

Born and raised in Sacramento CA. Joining the Army got me out of the state. Thank you Jesus.

  3. I’m still not sure how a bunch of illegals assaulting cops and burning down a city are supposed to make us sympathetic to their cause.

I’m also not sure how they’re expecting people to buy into the “Trump is making us burn our city down!” line.

All I see is evidence Trump needs to deport more, faster and CA needs to not receive any federal funds whatsoever if and when they decide to clean up and rebuild.

    1. It’s ideological subversion, as described by Yuri Bezmenov. It took decades to reach this point. The d-e-m-o-r-a-l-i-z-a-t-i-o-n* process has altered people’s perception of reality to the extent that they no longer recognize the threats or defend their traditional values.

President Sends National Guard To Stop Los Angeles [left winger] Insurrection.

    https://thefederalist.com/2025/06/08/president-sends-national-guard-to-stop-los-angeles-insurrection/

    “…
… The protests have reportedly included explosives detonated against cars, federal buildings, and federal law enforcement personnel. The insurrectionists have also lobbed rocks, stones, and concrete at federal law enforcement, according to Fox News.

Far-left rioters have surrounded an ICE facility and are launching explosive devices at it as they escalate their violence for a second night in their insurrection against the federal government.

Foreign criminals apprehended this week by now-beseiged U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Los Angeles included gang members and others with long rap sheets, including assault, domestic violence, robbery, cruelty to children, and drug and alien trafficking, Fox News reported, citing the Department of Homeland Security.

On Saturday, law enforcement officials used tear gas on rioters in Paramount, Calif., following an alleged ICE raid, Fox News reported. Several people were arrested on charges of assaulting a federal agent, U.S. Border Patrol head Michael W. Banks said.

This weekend’s violence in Los Angeles County comes in the wake of Democrat politicians rallying around threatening efforts to target ICE officers. On Tuesday, Democrat House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries joined a chorus of Democrats criticizing federal immigration officers for wearing masks after some agents and their families have been reportedly doxxed and threatened by anti-ICE activists.

… said Jeffries, who earlier this year urged Democrats to ‘fight’ Trump’s policies ‘in the streets.’

California is a libertarian, liberal leftists, gay utopia. They got want they wanted. The more conservative residents have left the state. And in such numbers that the state will be an American style communist/socialist state. Not a USSR version.

Thank God for the founders who gave us the 2nd amendment. The rural people in the former Golden state are in the best situation now. The major cities are finished.

You are not going to get major business investment in california. Go ahead. Defund the police. And live with the consequences.

Everyone has cameras now. They can’t hide all the non American flags they wave. Interesting how the ACLU went to court. To force the police to turn off their cameras. After they went to court to force the cops to get them.

    1. A little ironic that thanks to such equity boosting programs as cop cameras and shoehorning of color representation into everything the entire country is now familiar with the term chimping out.

  6. The LAPD thing is easy to understand; one statement was sent out by Communications (a lefty PR person) and the other by Operations (someone with real-life experience).

    1. Contrary to the caption in the tweet, one is from LASD (County Sheriff), a completely separate organization from LAPD.

    2. Eugene Randle

LAPD is the police department for the city. LASD is the sheriffs department for the county. Look closely and clarity will come.

Once again the local police have been told to stand down. Good. They hate the cops and love Michael Brown. They love George Floyd.

“It will be a summer of love”

That quote was from the l:es;bi@n DA in Seattle. The same one who didn’t prosecute rioters. Unless they came to her home to protest.

You get what you voted for. And by not voting you still get to live with the consequences too.

You don’t have private property rights. Unless you can kill inorder to protect what you own.

“We allowed them room to destroy”

From the former mayor of Baltimore. Now a democrat nation wide policy.

  9. That last picture is horrific. All those cop cars behind that guy and they’re doing NOTHING.

Also, the whole scene with burning cars…. A single guy on a rooftop with a 30-round magazine could have stopped it. What is lacking is not a way to stop it, but the will.

And, yes, get your range time, and maybe some classes on how to move and fire.
