Houston Homeowner Shoots and Kills Two Men in Ski Masks Dressed as Police

ring doorbell peephole police impersonators

Houston police — the real ones — are investigating a lethal home defense shooting that took place late Friday night in the southeast part of the city. Two men knocked on a homeowner’s door claiming they were police officers and were there to serve a warrant. To his credit, the homeowner didn’t just open the door. As KHOU reports . . .

“[The homeowner] became suspicious, because, you know, they have a ring camera too, and the suspects were saying they had a warrant, but it was just two people and they’re masked up and no police cars, no lights or anything like that,” said Lt. Khan with HPD.

At some point, police said the men shot at the homeowner through the door, prompting the homeowner to return fire.

And the return fire was apparently effective. A neighbor reports hearing a total of 22 gunshots and in the end . . .

The homeowner was not hurt in the gunfire, but the two men were both hit and pronounced dead at the scene.

The dead doods were wearing body armor and had some kind of badges on chains around their necks. HPD had this advice for homeowners who are suspicious of people showing up and claiming to be members of law enforcement . . .

Police said if you’re ever unsure whether it is really the police outside your door, there are some signs to look for.

“Obviously, a police car with some sort of lights and sirens and a bullhorn where we’ll be announcing ourselves,” HPD Detective Kyle Stringer told [KHOU].

I’ve never been a fan of doorbell camera systems, but in this instance, it may well have saved the homeowner’s life. Be careful out there.

    1. That Malinowski gig was a “designated hit”. A total setup. The man was the airport director in a $200k/yr FEDERAL job. Please, they could have showed yo casually at the airport on any given day and arrested him. “Loose lips sink ships”. They (the government and Buyden) wanted him silenced. Was there another “fast & furious” ATF gunrunning operation going on? Was Malinowski a part of it? Hmm . .

  1. Boston Cops Defy Left-Wing Mayor Michelle Wu, Secretly Aid ICE in Arresting Criminal Illegals.

It appears that many of Boston’s officers are quietly rebelling against the anti-ICE stance taken by Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s (D) administration. According to acting ICE Director Todd Lyons, Boston cops are secretly providing critical information to federal immigration officials to help arrest criminal illegal aliens—a bold move that flies in the face of the sanctuary city policies pushed by Wu and other extremist Democrat mayors across the country.

For years, Boston, under Wu’s leadership, has been one of the loudest advocates of the sanctuary city movement. Her administration has consistently refused to cooperate with federal immigration authorities, shielding illegal immigrants from enforcement efforts and pushing a narrative that criminal aliens should be protected rather than deported. But as Lyons revealed in an interview with conservative radio host Howie Carr, the rank-and-file officers on the ground are frustrated and unwilling to stand idly by as dangerous criminals roam the streets.

‘They can’t cooperate openly out of fear of getting in trouble or getting fired. But they’re helping us anyway,’ Lyons said.

Lyons made it clear that this covert collaboration isn’t unique to Boston. Across the country, local law enforcement officers, who understand the dangers posed by criminal illegal aliens, are aiding ICE in ways that are not immediately visible to the public eye.

‘That’s the issue we’re seeing in so many jurisdictions,’ Lyons noted. ‘We have so many men and women on the Boston Police Department and other jurisdictions that are so pro-ICE, that want to work with us and that are actually helping us behind the scenes.’

  2. Vivek Ramaswamy Surges Ahead in Ohio Governor’s Race.

Vivek Ramaswamy, the bold and rising star of the Republican Party, is making waves in Ohio’s gubernatorial race, securing an impressive 8-point lead over his Democratic rivals. A new poll from Emerson Polling reveals that Ramaswamy holds a commanding 49 percent of voter support, while his opponents—Tim Ryan and Amy Acton—are lagging far behind, with just 41 percent and 39 percent support, respectively.

    1. I’m guessing it’s about privacy. Cameras connected to the internet means other people could be watching. It’s a little eerie, even if it doesn’t matter.

      1. There is no privacy left in the USA.

A private citizen can purchase a very cheap infrared camera. And then look and see what the house next door is doing. And it can be posted onto the internet.

Remember those infrared scope advertisements you see on gun channels like this one and others.

Camera technology advancement has been astounding.

I personally used my cellphone camera to show the police a burglary in progress. A camera is a tool.

Just like a gun is a tool.

Private citizens have and use more cameras than the government does.

Even we as a society demanded that the government use more cameras. Such as demanding that government employees, known as police officers, have badge cameras. And require
        Police vehicles to have cameras.

We have embraced the “1984” surveillance system. It has just been mostly privatized.

And it’s been the first amendment crowd who wanted more government cameras used to watch the citizens.

        1. “Just like a gun is a tool.”

Next to come, the blue precincts will outlaw the use of cameras in conjunction with firearms claiming cameras are an accoutrement to the firearms.

        2. Infrared cameras don’t see through walls. Through fog, yes, and if there is a lot of heat, you may detect something behind a wall or curtain, or in some bushes, but the idea you can easily penetrate and see what your neighbor is doing in his or her house because you have infrared technology is not accurate. Glass. by the way, is pretty good at blocking infrared.

  3. Gavin Newsom takes the fight to Blue City Dems: Newsom’s PR account decided to post about violent crime in red states in an effort to show that violent crime in California is lower. Only one little problem, his PR morons doing the posting on the account named Blue democrat led cities in the red states highlighting them as to why the state violent crime seemed higher. In other words, Newsom’s own PR people ‘proved’ that violent crime is higher in blue democrat led areas than in red republican led areas or the red state proper – thus also ranked California as as state, blue run of course, among blue states with higher crime than red states. Maybe his PR morons have been huffing or mainlining Newsoms hair gell.

  4. EXCLUSIVE: DOJ Official Who Approved $2 Million Payout To Disgraced Russia Hoaxers Identified As Left-Wing Activist Brian Netter.

“Netter now works for a group chaired by Marc Elias, who helped run the Russia collusion hoax.

The Department of Justice official who signed off on $2 million in taxpayer-funded payments to disgraced Russia collusion hoax participants left the Department of Justice to help lead the ‘legal resistance’ to President Donald Trump and other duly-elected Republicans, new records reviewed exclusively by The Federalist reveal.

FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok and his mistress, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, sued the Department of Justice over the release of messages detailing their role in pushing the Clinton campaign’s Russia collusion hoax. They said the release of the messages that were written using government resources violated their privacy. The Biden administration rewarded the duo with lucrative payouts. Strozk received $1.2 million in taxpayer funds while Page received an $800,000 settlement.

‘[W]e have identified Brian Netter, Deputy Assistant Attorney General as the individual that approved the settlement agreements,’ a DOJ official told the Center to Advance Security in America, which had filed a Freedom of Information Act request in 2024, when the payouts were publicly announced. Netter was the deputy assistant attorney general for the Federal Programs Branch during the term of President Joe Biden.

Netter currently serves as the legal director at Democracy Forward, a Democrat Party-affiliated group launched in 2017 to fight President Trump with lawfare. …

  5. Update on Miner49er’s boyfriend: There’s Been a Major Update Regarding [monster] Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

“Kilmar Abrego Garcia was detained Monday morning by Immigration and Customs Enforcement after arriving at ICE’s Baltimore field office, just days after his release from custody in a federal criminal case.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said he is being processed for deportation.

‘President Trump is not going to allow this illegal alien, who is an MS-13 gang member, human trafficker, serial domestic abuser, and child predator to terrorize American citizens any longer,’ she said on X.

As Jeff reported last week, ICE notified Abrego shortly after his release on Friday that he could be deported to Uganda within days.

[note: court said he could not be deported to ElSalvadore, again, but also said that illegal aliens could be deported to ‘third countries’ and Uganda is one of many such countries willing to accept these illegal aliens. So I’m pretty sure Kilmar will either go there or possibly Costa Rica. At any rate, Miner49er defended this ‘Maryland man’ monster so much its like he wanted to have his child. Maybe the dems will take another tax payer funded trip to where ever Kilmar ends up to join him for margaritas again.]

    1. Kilmar Abrego Garcia Finally Detained by ICE – but There’s More to the Story.

“The saga around Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the illegal alien the government keeps trying to deport, seems to be the never-ending story.

However, we may be in the final stages of that story because now he has been detained by ICE.

Less than 24 hours after being released from criminal custody in Tennessee on Friday, ICE notified Abrego Garcia’s attorneys that he may be deported to Uganda and ordered him to report to their office in Maryland.

The notification from ICE came after Abrego Garcia rejected a plea deal to be deported to Costa Rica in exchange for pleading guilty to human smuggling charges and remaining in jail, according to a court filing from his attorneys. …” {note: when he showed up he was arrested and placed in confinement.] “…

Uganda is one of the third-party countries that has agreed to accept illegal aliens deported by the U.S.

    2. “Update on Miner49er’s boyfriend“

just can’t stop yourself from thinking about same sex activities, that’s really creepy.

“this illegal alien, who is an MS-13 gang member”

Asserting facts not in evidence and without any citation is standard for MAGA dupes.

“The dead doods were wearing body armor and had some kind of badges on chains around their necks“

Working for ICE can be dangerous it seems.

      1. Also, a little FYI: if anyone says something like “the sky is blue” or “water is wet” be sure to give a citation or you’re just a MAGA dupe.

  6. An American in Dresden…Was Knifed in the Face by a Syrian.

“Sunday night, on the train from Weixdorf to Dresden, a couple of Germany’s imported residents who were traveling in a group began harassing female passengers. The two men apparently zeroed in on a couple of young women for some extraordinary rudeness, enough to draw the attention of a 21-year-old American who was a passenger in the car at the same time.

The young American stepped in to protect the women and fend off the harassers.
    …”
Both Syrians fled from the train and, while authorities did manage to snatch one up later, the actual knife-wielder is still believed to be at large. Maddeningly and in classic fashion, the Germans released the accomplice they were holding almost immediately, even though the miscreant had a lengthy and violent criminal record already.

Here is a video from the Good Samaritan talking about it after the fact. …

…Because the victim was an American, this case has made headlines across Anglophone media, but the truth is that this happens all the time now, and many cases as bad as or worse than this one pass with little notice. In 2024, authorities counted an average of 79 knife attacks per day in the Federal Republic. There are dozens if not hundreds of news stories out there, so many I no longer bother to keep track of them. Here’s a report from June about a 39 year-old man who died of knife wounds after getting into a fight with a bunch of Afghans in Berlin. Here’s a report from the beginning of August about a 40 year-old Tunisian migrant who stole a knife from a butcher shop in Wuppertal and used it to menace passers-by until police shot him. Here’s a report from July about the Syrian who injured four people on the Intercity Express from Straubing to Plattling with an axe. And here’s a report that made the news just today about a knife fight among Afghans in Berlin that left six injured. These stories are relentless.

The local AfD chapter in Dresden, however, took time to thank the young hero for his courage.

    That was nicely done.
    …”

[note: Here in the U.S. the media rarely reports on knife attacks. But databases and police reports nationwide show ~3,200 times daily, as of 30 July 2025, a criminal knife/pointed-object/sharpened-edged-weapon attack happens and less than 6% of the perpetrators are caught with the rest never showing up in stats because the offense is placed in a non-reportable category. More than 90% of these criminal attacks take place in Blue cities.]

  7. The story didn’t say “body armor”, it said “bulletproof vests”.

Apparently they weren’t as bulletproof as they thought.

Or maybe they should have invested in helmets rather than ski masks?

Missing detail: what kind of gun did the homeowner defend himself with? If it was an AR, that would explain why the body armor didn’t keep the perps alive…and would be another data point in the whole “why do civilians need semi-automatic rifles” argument.

    At any rate…good shootin’ Tex.

    1. Ah, MinorAnnoyance arises from the deceased (or at least largely inactive) trolls!!

How ya doin’, you Leftist/fascist you!? The evidence of Abrego-Garcia’s affiliation with and activities on behalf of MS-13 is extensive, and readily available to those not too completely brainswashed to observe and recognize it (and it ain’t just tatoos, either), but that misses the point. You Dimocrats are so ignorant of Constitutional law, and what parts you supposedly understand, you completely mischaracterize. “Due process”, in Constitutional terms, basically means “that process which is due and reasonable under the circumstances”. Every dispute about law does not require an indictment, a grand jury, a warrant, Miranda representation, a jury trial, and a right of appeal.

Even a quarter-wit should be able to simple look at the differences in both procedure, and actual legal requirements (rules of evidence, burden of proof, you’re no entitled to counsel in certain matters (e.g,, small claims court). SCOTUS has specifically ruled that illegal immigrants near the border, or less than 2 weeks in the US (a stupid rule – how do you prove it, or disprove it, either way?? And what difference does it make??). The “due process” guaranteed to legal US citizens is NOT the due process mandated for aliens, particularly illegal aliens. BECAUSE the US is a country of laws and inherent rights (or at least we strive for such), we typically afford considerable due process even to illegal aliens, but . . . that ain’t the legal or Constitutional standard.

Illegal aliens sound pretty hypocritical when demanding “due process”, when they blatantly ignored our laws and processes to be here in the first placel . Riddle me this, MinorNitwit, what would France do to an American who landed in France by private boat, without passport, visa, etc.??? (The Frogs do allow it for Muslim and North African invaders,, of course.) The depth of your lack of self-awareness, and the completeness of your mind virus infection, is truly astounding.

But, as always, you provide comic relief – you’re fun to mock.
