After a High Profile Shooting, the Anti-Gun Left Wants to Have it Both Ways…Depending on the Identity of the Killer

Robin Westman Minneapolis church school shooting

Given the now-emerging facts about the suspect in today’s horrific crime in Minneapolis, people on the left are about to argue that the overwhelming majority of trans people never commit any violent crimes, and this is an aberrant event which should not be blamed on all trans people, nor should it lead to their rights being curtailed. I totally agree.

I don’t blame anyone for this evil person’s actions except him alone. But I demand they apply that exact same logic to gun owners and stop trying to strip all law-abiding people of their rights because of the actions of individual criminals like this one. You can’t have it both ways.

I’ve also seen reactions like this:

Via X

That is a terrible idea. Disarmament should be an individualized determination. Some class-based prohibitions are fine (e.g., those with a violent criminal history), but disarming all trans people because one (or a few) lunatic(s) committed a crime is not a path we want to go down.

Via X

Soon it may be people like Gavin Newsom deciding which sorts of people he doesn’t want to be armed. The overwhelming majority of trans people will never commit a violent crime. The deranged Minneapolis church school shooter clearly must have given some sign of his dangerousness, so as more is learned, we’ll see whether Minnesota’s red flag law could have or should have been used.

As for the usual suspects in the gun control industry who opportunistically jump on shootings like the one today, they’re are right about one thing: this shouldn’t be normal and parents should never have to be afraid when they drop their kids off at school that they will never see them again. But their solutions haven’t worked, nor is it justifiable to disarm good people because a few nutjobs commit atrocities.

Instead, we should make real school security a priority. Administrative bloat over the last 15 to 20 years is well documented. Cut that wasteful spending and instead, pay for each school to have trained armed security like you see in so many other places.

I’m sure many military veterans would be happy to do this job if it paid fairly. While armed teachers are no substitute for trained security, teachers and staff who want to carry — and are legally allowed to do so — should be allowed to carry while at work. There is no reason they shouldn’t be able to defend themselves and their students as a last resort if everything else fails. The presence of armed security alone will make attempted school shootings drop precipitously.

None of this should be taken to imply I think these events are common, because they aren’t. But like acts of terrorism, their impact is disproportionate to their commonality.

    1. I think it is past time to remove all dems from all public offices. They have become a fascist oriented terror organization at this point.

  1. They got rid of the insane asylum. They said h0.m:0sezu@;lity was okay. So all the different variations of g@,ys, their different sez acts are okay too.

And now we have very sick mentally ill h0;m0se;zu.@ls who should be locked up. But that is not politically correct to say that.

So instead we have more and more of them shooting up churches, schools, and other private businesses.

No cash bail. Emptying the jails in 2020. Allowing criminals to steal in order to pay for their drug addiction. Not arresting them when they urinate and defecate in public.

And “the church” is not teaching the many examples of armed (guns) self-defense in the bible.

  2. “This would never happen were I live”

“That wouldn’t happen in my church or office”

“My part of the city doesn’t have a crime problem”

The first rule of a gun fight is to have a gun. Any gun. And train how to use it. And learn how to carry it wherever you go.

    1. “Given the now-emerging facts about the suspect in today’s horrific crime in Minneapolis, people on the left are about to argue that the overwhelming majority of trans people never commit any violent crimes, and this is an aberrant event which should not be blamed on all trans people, nor should it lead to their rights being curtailed. First … I understand why journalist and police and official sources say say ‘alleged’ or ‘suspect’, there’s a certain amount of legalities to observe, but lets look at that for a moment. Fact: This trans killer, ROBERT Westman (AKA ‘Robin’ Westman), did for a fact do this heinous horrible monstrous act – so lets get that straight because the leftists and going to say ‘suspect’ and ‘alleged’ for this for-a-fact-trans-killer and then try to hide the trans angle or try to excuse it away some way or another like the anti-gun are trying to do now to place the blame on guns when it was really mental illness of another trans killer. But when we look at the larger picture we see that its not just trans but rather a very disturbing and growing trend of overall left wing liberal violence with more then 10,000 violent incidents nation wide (no, not mass shootings) in just the last 4 months.

Second, there are an overwhelming majority of trans people never commit any violent crimes … that’s not actually completely true though. There is nothing unique about the trans demographic that keeps them from committing crime – as a separate demographic there is a majority of trans people who do commit crimes in general and violent crimes but its mostly not recognized as such because its simply reported as crime and the thing of trans doesn’t come up … but that’s not the point. The point is there are an overwhelming majority of trans people that are mentally ill and emotionally and mentally unstable. For example, trans people, compared to the total population, as a demographic, are INHERENTLY over 1,000 times more likely to attempt suicide – that is not great mental health. And sure, they like to blame it on ‘society’ and ‘micro aggression’ and all sorts of things but take a look at that closely, for example, someone calls a trans person ‘sir’ instead of ‘ma’am’, we have all seen the videos on tic-tok and read the stories, their first reaction is ‘victim-hood’ … ‘oh poor me I don’t feel safe’ or ‘anger’ or even, in numerous incidents, committing acts of violence ‘lashing out in anger’ (especially within their own demographic or against others LGBTQ+ associated with ‘domestic incidents’) – this is not great mental health, this is emotional and mental health instability just as its emotional and mental health instability for them to demand another must re-enforce and support the trans persons imagined self-perception.

Try walking around in society everyday telling people they must call you Batman, then getting visibly angry and start screaming when they don’t and see if at some point you are not hauled away for a little bit of ‘observation time’ in the mental health ward some place. But for trans we are suppose to call them what they demand and if we don’t then something is wrong with us and not them? This is not healthy as a society. If you wanna be Batman, then fine, you be Batman but don’t demand that everyone is required to call you Batman to make you feel good about your choice and when someone says ‘Hey, you are not Batman’ you do not have have any right to ‘victim hood’ or any right to get upset or angry or protest and its emotional and mental health instability to assume you do.

So we have an ‘overwhelming majority of trans people’ that are ‘loose grenades’ waiting for someone to come along and ‘pull the pin’ with some trigger words or actions or even mean looks, and this trans killer, ROBERT Westman (AKA ‘Robin’ Westman), like the Nashville trans killer, like the many trans, were one of these ‘loose grenades’ whose ‘pins were pulled’ by the steady diet of violence-victimhood fed them by the violent left wing liberal and democrat politician rhetoric.

This trans killer, ROBERT Westman (AKA ‘Robin’ Westman), like the Nashville trans killer, like the many trans – their actions are their actions. It wasn’t the guns fault, its an inanimate object, its got nothing to do with guns, its got nothing to do with MAGA or republicans or Trump or gun-owners – I didn’t do this, you didn’t do this, the rest of American gun owners didn’t do this and even the other criminal elements in the country did not do this. But, I can tell you one thing that’s evident – if you keep feeding mentally and emotionally unstable people hatred and violence rhetoric that re-enforces their self-perceived victim-hood like the left wing liberals and democrat politicians do towards trans and the liberal left wing mentally and emotionally unstable people there’s a good chance some of those trans or liberal left wing ‘loose grenades’ are going to have their ‘pins pulled’.

      1. Understanding How Democrats Lied About The Minneapolis School Shooting To Push Their Narrative

“Watch to understand the facts of the attack, the shooter’s disturbing manifesto and mental health issues (including his gender identity and radical leftist views), and how CNN and liberal media outlets like MSNBC immediately spread misinformation, fear-mongering about guns, and blamed Republicans. ”

      2. Student Shares Firsthand Account of Heroic Actions Friend Took During MN Shooting.

‘We had just gotten into Mass, there were like three minutes after, it was very scary,’ the young student explained.

‘My friend got shot in the back,’ he added. ‘He’s in the hospital right now. It was super scary because we’ve never practiced it in the church. We’ve only practiced it in the main school. So, we really didn’t know what to do.’

‘We just got in the pews and he shot through the stained glass windows,’ the young boy continued, as he explained how his friend got shot. ‘My friend was lying on top of me, making sure I was safe, and he got hit. So, that was really brave of him.’

Wow. So much courage in such a little guy. As the fifth grader explained, his best friend got shot and was taken to the hospital, and his other pal was the one who tried to protect him from the bullets. That’s a lot to take in right now. But so proud of these boys for being so strong in a time when some adults would probably not have been able to do the same.
        …”

[note: and this, this is why they needed firearm armed defense. It was not available to them. Its likely, that an armed ‘security’ team around to do the three D’s (detect, deter, defend) or returning fire back through the window to the mentally ill trans shooter and even going outside to engage him would have saved some or all the lives here and prevented many injurered. This was not a well trained ‘spec ops’ type guy, it was a deranged mentally ill trans killer who was indiscriminately spraying fire through a window and could not see the specific targets – its very likely that average civilian gun-carriers would have been able to take him down.]

  3. Problem is certain “signs” are not only ignored and excused by a certain toxicly tolerant group but they are even fostered, encouraged and grown by them. In fact they believe their political success depends on creating more of them. Endlessly hopeless perpetual victims who view anything that goes against civilization as correct. The more harmful or contradictory an idea is to western civilization the more true it must be because history, math, science, biology, etc .. have all been white washed and mansplained to hide the, their, “truth.”

Psycho narcissistic cultists. Every one of them.

    1. They’ve been doing their best to recruit (create) “oppressed” people that will support the Dems fake civil rights fights. What else would Dems do to get votes? Reduce crime, spending, and government overreach?

  4. Armed Uber Driver Shoots Passenger Who Tased & Strangles Him.

(Colion) “Imagine picking up a late-night ride from a Motel 6—just another shift driving Uber—when suddenly your passenger tases you and tries to choke you out.

That’s exactly what happened in Fort Mill, South Carolina. But this Uber driver wasn’t defenseless. He fought back with the one thing that gave him a fighting chance—his legally carried firearm. Prosecutors have now ruled the shooting justified, and he won’t face charges.

In this video, I break down:

Why rideshare drivers are some of the most vulnerable workers out there

How a stun gun and chokehold can be just as deadly as a firearm

Why dash cams are as important as the gun you carry

What happens after a shooting, and why legal protection is just as critical as self-defense itself

This driver went home alive because he was prepared. But survival doesn’t end when the threat is over—it continues into the investigation, the courtroom, and the legal aftermath.

  5. This Democrat Just Showed Why Anti-Gunners are Losing the Argument.

“Democrats are still using the shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis to push their anti-gunner agenda.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), during an appearance on MSNBC, blamed Republicans for the shooting, citing their refusal to champion radical gun control laws. But, as most anti-gunners, Klobuchar quickly revealed that she knows nothing about guns.

  6. Fulton County, the Gift That Keeps on Giving—Judge Orders Commission to Pay Daily Fine for Defying Order.

“Fulton County is back in the headlines Wednesday. You remember the Georgia county, where TDS-riddled District Attorney Fani Willis tried to ‘get’ Trump on charges of trying to overturn the 2020 election results in the state? That didn’t go well.

Now the county election board is under fire from a Senior Superior Court judge for their refusal to follow the law:

A judge has found the Fulton County Commission in civil contempt of court for refusing to comply with an order to appoint the local Republican Party’s two nominees for the Fulton County Election Board.

Superior Judge David Emerson has ordered the commission to pay a fine of $10,000 per day starting Friday until the body approves the two nominees.

‘The court finds beyond reasonable doubt that the Board of Commissioners has failed to comply with this court’s order,’ Emerson wrote in a ruling.

  7. Dark Money Is Funding Democrat Influencers.

First of all, and unfortunately in my view, a lot of Democrat-aligned influencers built their audiences the old-fashioned way–by building a following by saying what they think. I’ve not looked deeply into any particular ‘influencer,’ but I don’t automatically assume that all of them are paid shills.

But it sure looks like quite a few of them are, and that they are breaking both campaign finance laws and the terms of service for the social media platforms they post on.

How? They are secretly taking money from a shady, dark money ‘nonprofit’ funded by Arabella Advisors (about whom I wrote earlier today) to promote Democrats and left-wing agendas without revealing that they are doing so. In fact, they signed contracts that required them to conceal the fact that they were being paid to say certain things and promote specific politicians.

A Dem dark money group offered influencers $8k/mo. to push progressive messaging — as long as they didn’t reveal they were taking the $.

Democrats hope that the secretive Chorus Creator Incubator Program, funded by a powerful liberal dark money group called The Sixteen Thirty Fund, might tip the scales. The program kicked off last month, and creators involved were told by Chorus that over 90 influencers were set to take part. Creators told WIRED that the contract stipulated they’d be kicked out and essentially cut off financially if they even so much as acknowledged that they were part of the program. Some creators also raised concerns about a slew of restrictive clauses in the contract.

  8. When there are large events the organizers need to have armed good guys standing in the crowds or by entrances or patrol the event grounds. Enough of this senseless ambush killing.

If you dont allow law abiding cityizens to carry at your event you should be financially held responsible for any shootings that occur because you failed to provide security.

  9. The point is well-made. Contrary to gun control perceptions (and propaganda), gender identification or even actual biological gender, along with race and ethnicity, are not accurate predictors of who might be a potential mass shooter. It is also true universal background checks, red flag laws, and all the other articles of faith in gun control dogma don’t prevent tragedies like the ones in Minneapolis,

Gavin Newsom is a bad joke. California leads the nation in the number of real mass shootings (3+ fatalities, not connected with other crimes) and the Assembly’s addiction to passing more gun control laws, especially over the past ten years, doesn’t seem to done any favors for public safety.

Although there aren’t any exact numbers, the evidence we do have is persuasive: Guns save more lives than gun control. A lot more lives.
