A 42-year-old man was accused of stabbing 11 people in a Michigan WalMart on Saturday.
Authorities are looking to charge the Afton, Michigan resident with terrorism for his stabbing spree.
What isn’t being talked about enough throughout the mainstream media circles (shockingly) is how a good Samaritan with a gun was able to hold the scumbag at bay until authorities arrived. …
Thanks to the Second Amendment, no lives were lost in this stabbing spree, and a group of citizens were able to corner the assailant and give the police time to arrive on the scene and apprehend him.
It should be noted that Michigan has fairly strict gun laws, requiring permits and background checks.
That didn’t stop this creep from circumventing those laws and turning a common tool like a hunting knife into a weapon of mass harm.
How long until democrats in Michigan start pushing for “common sense knife laws?”

First and foremost, I am incredibly relieved and glad to hear that medical professionals expect all of the victims to physically recover. (Their psychological recovery will be an entirely different story.)
Second, I am incredibly glad that an armed citizen deployed his firearm and apparently motivated the would-be spree killer to stop stabbing/slashing people–thus minimizing the casualty count. Kudos to him for stepping up and defending innocent life!
Now for a teaching moment:
1) The armed citizen appears to have his support hand over the cylinder or slide of his defensive handgun. (I cannot quite tell from the video and still-frame whether the armed citizen has a revolver or a semi-auto pistol.) That could be rather catastrophic in two ways: it could have caused significant injury to his support hand and, more importantly, interfered with his handgun’s operation and disabled additional shots.
2) The armed citizen was WAY TOO CLOSE to the attacker who still had his knife in hand and was still moving about in a way which suggested that he was still interested in attacking more people. Had the attacker lunged at the armed citizen, he was all but guaranteed to impart at least one, if not multiple, stab/slash wounds before any likelihood of absorbing enough bullets to physically incapacitate him.
Years ago, I was an an outdoor shooting range on public land (no RSOs). A young man nearby was holding his gun similar to the man in the photo, and the slide cut his hand sharply upon cycling. The bleeding was intense enough that (in my days before I engaged in the practice of always having a full FAK with me at ranges) I had to remove one of my socks to apply it as gauze for the wound, and instruct him to hold his hand above heart level before his buddy drove him away to Urgent Care.

I cannot help but wonder if the attacker was a devout follower of the “religion of peace”.

Going back to older posts where the leftist media has complained about certain populations not feeling like the 2nd A is “for them” because gun owners are just a “white guys club” here is a great opportunity for that same media to highlight a member of one of those populations using the 2nd A for the good of his community thereby showing it is indeed “for them.”
I trust the media will do what’s right towards correcting a wrong they felt obligated to highlight in the past. Any minute now. I’m sure.

A prominent legacy media organization plainly stated that a Good Samaritan armed with a handgun stopped the attacker–and even showed the video making it absolutely clear that he had a handgun aimed at the attacker. That same organization even showed an interview with him on their morning national news.
I was/am incredibly surprised that the legacy media organization which I mentioned above seemed to actually highlight the fact that an armed citizen stopped the attacker. Who knows, maybe they are starting to see the light as well?

Their narrative is pretty simple. “Trump is a tyrant, and he’s caused a rise in violence by right-wing extremists.”
Do the facts fit that description? No.
Political violence is rising, but the violence is coming from the left. Following Trump’s election, and his vow to deport illegal aliens, and the concomitant enforcement of immigration laws, the left has swarmed ICE officers as they make arrests. The violence that followed has been spun into myth. In Los Angeles, local police have been pelted with rocks and bricks. ICE officers simply doing their jobs have been swarmed by thugs intent on violence and activists intent on causing a reaction. Although the left “experts” and pundits desperately wanted ‘right-wingers’ to respond in kind, that hasn’t happened.
