Secret Service, Local Cops Ensure RNC Attendees Will Navigate a Gauntlet of Protesters in Milwaukee

The collection of partisan political hacks who make up the Biden administration have busied themselves politicizing virtually every aspect of the federal government since 2021. From refusing to provide Secret Service protection for RFK Jr. during his campaign to setting up the RNC for easy protester access, the Biden regime makes no pretense about putting its finger on the partisan scales.

The security perimeter ringing the Republican convention will obviously preclude attendees from carrying defensive firearms, blades, and likely even pepper spray as well. But given how security officials have set up the designated protest area, convention-goers will have to navigate a gauntlet of hostiles in order to attend the event in Milwaukee in July.

In other words, those attending the RNC event will be sitting ducks for screaming fascists who are more than willing to use violence to intimidate those they disagree with. Bless their hearts.

From PJ Media:

Milwaukee is a Democratic-run city. It’s also where the 2024 Republican National Convention is going to be held from July 15 to July 18, 2024.

Is it any surprise that the area chosen by the city to host the thousands of protesters who will descend on Milwaukee is less than a quarter-mile from the Fiserv Forum and would give protesters a nice, clear shot at GOP delegates attending the event?…

The area in question is a one-block city park and should be considered “dangerous because thousands of convention attendees will be forced to walk by the park en route to the festivities, a lawyer for the Republican Party wrote in the letter,” according to the Washington Post, who obtained a copy of the letter.

The park is located between two main streets that convention-goers will have to use to get to the Fiserv Forum. In other words, a nice, convenient gauntlet for delegates to run.

“This will force thousands of peaceful attendees and demonstrators, who may otherwise choose to avoid or limit direct, proximate engagement with one another, to be in extremely close, consistent, and unavoidable proximity. As recent college and university campus clashes make plain, forced proximity heightens tensions among peaceful attendees and demonstrators of differing ideologies and increases the risk of escalation to verbal, or even physical, clashes and corresponding law enforcement intervention,” wrote the lawyer, Todd Steggerda of McGuireWoods.

Even more remarkable, the local PD, run by hacks appointed by local leftist leaders, have taken the position that the RNC’s conventioneers pose the real threat to local residents in the city, not the Antifa goons who are sure to show up. From the Washington Post, where Democracy goes to die in darkness:

At the meeting, a Milwaukee police captain also said there were concerns within the community that Republican convention attendees might “terrorize Milwaukee citizens” and “harass minorities.”

“There is fear in the community,” the Milwaukee police official said.

Nick DeSiato, chief of staff for Milwaukee’s City Hall, said that “the captain’s comment reflected feedback from some of our community members.”

The WaPo closed with this bit of wishcasting . . .

Jeff Fleming, a spokesman for Milwaukee, said the city “expects a well-behaved group of protesters from a variety of viewpoints.”

Sure they do. Many of them will certainly be well-paid, but their behavior should certainly be a concern.

It’s probably safe to say that both Milwaukee and Chicago (where the DNC will be held) are likely to burn this summer thanks to local leaders with soft spots for criminals, Antifa, Palestine fans, and professional agitators.

Meanwhile, in the free state of Florida, law and order rule the day.

The bottom line from a personal safety and security perspective — don’t be within a quarter tank of gas of the DNC in Chicago. And don’t attend the RNC event in Milwaukee either.

  1. Why the RNC decided to hold its national convention in a swamp like Milwaukee is beyond me. It’s not called the Stupid Party quite often for nothing.

What did they think would happen? That a city that notoriously allows and facilitates ballot stuffing to favor Democrats was going to give the GOP the full protection of the law? Heck, the local politicians are likely collaborating with the rabblerousers as we speak.

It’s not like there aren’t plenty of cities in Red states with governors willing to send in the state police if necessary.

      1. Remember the coverage leading up to the 2016 election? I don’t remember ever seeing so many skirmishes at political rallies. The news coverage framed it as violent right wingers. The truth is, the Left paid agitators to start trouble. I expect more of the same this year. 2020 was a different animal due to Cov.

    1. They think they’re going to take Wisconsin again. Maybe they can, but not like this. When you look at the numbers, 2016 was kind of a fluke. Trump won because Dem voters didn’t show up. Trump won with fewer votes than Romney got.

    2. Even in red states, the major cities are often leftist.

Florida is a good example of that, Miami, Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville are all blue cities, it’s the fact the Florida’s substantially larger rural population is red that keeps the legislature out of leftist control…

      1. Of course. We have the same thing in Texas (see, e.g., Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and of course Austin).

But the difference is that just as Gov. Abbott and Gov. DeSantis have both demonstrated recently, a red-state governor still can call out the big guns in blue cities when they need to.

  2. “…for screaming fascists who are more than willing to use violence to intimidate those they disagree with.”

to clarify … screaming violent left wing fascists allied with terrorist organizations like Hamas.

Anyway, this is where grazing fire would be useful.

(Ok, before anyone gets upset, I was kidding about the grazing fire. But there is a big problem here that needs to be resolved to move these people away from the area. There is a real threat from these types, their violence they have shouted it and demonstrated it and have even allied with our own home grown heavily armed terrorist violent left wing group ANTIFA.)

A fear you idiots created, instilled, and keep going with your left wing ‘democrat’ party line BS rhetoric.

What , RNC moron decided this? There are other way to sway Wisconsin. That park should be closed, but it won’t. All the important people will be Limo’d in.

  4. The niece of Trump-hater Mitt Romney headed the RNC when Milwaukee was chosen. What could go wrong?
