SHOT 2026: New Suppressors From Dead Air

Dead Air Silencers showed off a couple new models at SHOT Show this year, one geared toward law enforcement-style patrol rifles and one more geared toward hunting and precision rifles.

This is the CT5P Patrol Silencer, which is focused on suppressing 5.56 NATO and 6mm ARC AR-15s — duty/patrol rifles — without screwing up the gas settings and reducing blowback to the operator’s face. DMLS manufactured from exotic Haynes 282, it can withstand the hardest of use.

The other suppressor that stood out to us is Dead Air’s first over-barrel (or “reflex”) suppressor, the Nomad Ti OTB.

This titanium silencer comes in at a feather light 10.5 ounces and, though it’s 7.65 inches long, it adds only 4.6 inches to the rifle’s overall length.

Knowing the Nomad series pretty well, I’m sure this can is also impressively quiet as well as accurate. The Nomad line has always been a great choice for hunters and sport shooters alike.

Dead Air’s Nomad Ti OTB mounts to a Xeno muzzle device and will fit over barrels that do not exceed 1.0 inches in diameter.
