They want to “have a say in our protection and not have to rely on others,” one said.
The morning after mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s victory, firearms instructors and gun shop owners were flooded with urgent pleas. “It’s getting busy because of him,” said longtime gun safety instructor Lance Dashefsky. …

Brooklyn firearms instructor Ross Den said anyone who was ever on the fence about getting a concealed carry weapon, is no longer.

Why wasn’t it all over the new that the landlords, diamond district, and business owners were withholding financial support? Why didn’t this turn into a monkey knife fight?
Barley thinks something very rotten occurred, a deliberate move to crash the city with the longer-term goal of bringing in the National Guard to rescue it.

This is an age old technique to take over a country or region over time. It was invented by the Romans. The Romans would send roman citizens into an area, they would start spreading roman culture and demanding acknowledgement of it and start taking over positions of power (today we call this ‘elected offices’) and before long the area was dominated by roman culture and rome. We see this taking place today in the U.K. with the Muslims, native-born non-muslim U.K. citizens get arrested for flying the U.K. flag and for saying anything a Muslim deems offensive – while the radical muslim men operate with relative impunity to substitute Islamic law for U.K. law to rape non-muslim-women because its its not against Islamic law (its only a crime under Islamic law to rape muslim women) and the government mostly leaves it alone out of fear of offending Muslims while at the same time accepting it as ok to do in many places because so many government positions across the U.K. are held by muslims that make the decisions.
