If you’re a fan of Westerns you’ve seen both the original 3:10 to Yuma with Glen Ford and the extremely well-done remake. And you liked ’em. Well, here’s your chance to own a piece of movie history with 100% of the auction proceeds going to the Gun Owners of Ameria.
This gorgeous .45 Colt six-shooter has a slick gunfighter modification to the trigger guard, which, according to the paperwork in the Gunbroker auction photos, was done at the request of Russel Crowe, who used it in the second movie.
In fact, the serial number is apparently clearly visible in the movie. This Colt Single Action Army reproduction was made by USFA, or U.S. Fire Arms, which made the very nicest, period-correct single action revolvers in the country — absolutely fantastic guns in every way! — until they ruined everything and tanked the entire company inside of an 18-month span in their attempt to launch the disastrous ZiP22, arguably the worst firearm ever made. But I digress.
As I write this, the 3:10 to Yuma H.O.G. gun is a just a skosh out of my price range, but given how nice the gun is and the fact that all the proceeds are going to GOA, plus the appeal to movie buffs, that’s no surprise.

It’s more than I thought it would be. I’ve only seen the remake. Great movie.
