I’m a 42 year old white dude. I live on the north west side of Chicago and with the ICE stuff happening, my time working as a shooting instructor at a summer camp in college is coming back to me. I don’t own a firearm but am comfortable shooting everything from a .22 handgun to a 44 Magnum and am comfortable with a rifle up to a .308 with accuracy at 100 yards (we only shot up to 100 yards).
I’m a huge fan of what the Black Panther Party did with the rifle displays on the capital steps and feel like a collection of liberal gun owners organized and showing up in Broadview would be a good way to exercise our 2nd Amendment Rights and also legitimately protecting our neighbors.
My wife thinks I’ve watched too many action movies and doesn’t want me to get hurt.
I feel like a .45 ACP 1911 and a pistol grip .308 would be a wise decision given where we are as a country and what might happen in my neighborhood.

By “neighbors,” he means criminals being sought by federal authorities. By “liberal gun owners showing up,” he means an organized and usually violent act of revolt or rebellion against an established government or governing authority by a group of its citizens.
