A school shooting took place this morning during mass at a Catholic church school in Minneapolis. According to the latest reports, two people are dead and at least 17 are injured. The shooter — a man described as “dressed in all black and armed with a rifle” is also reported dead, though it isn’t clear whether he killed himself or was shot by police.
Meanwhile, CNN is, of course, covering the story. Part of that coverage includes someone named Evan Perez who CNN describes as their “Senior Justice Correspondent based in the Washington, D.C. Bureau, reporting on legal, crime, and national security issues.”
While Perez apparently knows something about the courts and the criminal justice system, one thing he’s embarrassingly ignorant about is firearms. He prominently displayed his abject lack of basic knowledge for all the world to see this morning in the above clip.
When the talking head host described the shooting and the weapon used, she said “…it seemed like a rifle he said, a semi-automatic rifle, and it went on for seven minutes.” That’s when Perez dropped this barely polished turd of fetid media “analysis” . . .
Right, and look, that’s not uncommon as well. These things can shoot dozens of bullets, you know, in just one trigger pull, right? And so, what happens in this case is sometimes they have enough time to reload. It’s one of the most horrific things…

So clearly, when CNN’s audience gets this kind of authoritative commentary from Perez on breaking news, they can be confident that he’s giving them the straight poop. Huge, steaming piles of it.
Given this morning’s performance, you can only wonder what other garbage disguised as news the remainder of CNN’s dwindling audience members are getting and taking as gospel.
The only people who don’t know the MSM is either ludicrously wrong at best or intentionally deceiving at worst regardless of what they’re covering are the consumers of MSM.

[UPDATE 12:06 p.m.] During a press conference, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said that the children at the school were in Mass, marking the first week of school. The shooter — who had a rifle, shotgun, and pistol — began firing through the church windows from outside. Two children, ages eight and 10 years old, are dead. Seventeen others are injured, including 14 children. Two of the children are in critical condition. Police found other terrified children hiding throughout the building.
O’Hara said the shooter looks to be in his early twenties and most likely died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

He showed a manifesto in a 20-minute YouTube video just hours before the shooting. It has since been deleted and police are using it as part of their investigation.
The video showed a drawing of a church with a man saying quietly: “I’m going to kill myself”. The man also stabbed the drawing repeatedly.
Other videos posted on the account referred to suicide and violent thoughts.

Correction: I posted previously the mother of the trans killer, ROBERT Westman (AKA ‘Robin’ Westman), that she worked at the school. More correctly, she is a former employee of the school.
Court records show the shooter’s mother applied to change his name in 2019 from Robert Paul Westman to Robin M. Westman because he identified as a female, according to the Minnesota Star Tribune. Since Robert was a minor at the time, changing his name required parental consent.
