“We hope [the Supreme Court] takes this opportunity to properly interpret the law and protect lawful gun manufacturers from liability for misuse of their products,” [Utah Attorney General Sean] Reyes’ statement said. “If the Mexican government wants to hold others liable for impact to its country, perhaps it should be held responsible for the tens of thousands of drug overdose deaths in America from fentanyl and other illicit substances coming from drug operations based in Mexico.”
Reyes and his Republican counterparts argue that the case has the potential to threaten Americans’ Second Amendment rights. They also contend that the 2005 Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which shields firearms manufacturers from being held responsible for crimes committed with their products, invalidates Mexico’s claims.

For any court to even consider the Mexican lawsuit is an insult to “we the people”!

You’re beginning to sound just like Debbie, FYI.
Not something you want to aspire for.
It is about time that our courts sent a message to Mexico and other countries that we will not tolerate any interference with our Constitutional Rights. Mexico should turn itself to fight the criminals within it’s own borders. This lawsuit has the potential to directly affect the 2nd Amendment. It should tossed out by the very first court that receives it.
I can’t believe you still trust the courts.
