You know Taurus’s insanely popular TX22 rimfire pistol. It’s one of the most popular .22LR semi-autos on the market. Everyone loves the TX22 for a lot of good reasons. They’re both affordable and run amazingly well, including with forced reset triggers.
Well, Taurus just dropped a new brace-ready version. They’ve molded an extension onto the frame of the new brace-ready TX22 version with an integral Picatinny rail on the back. It comes from Taurus in either a bare frame version or one that includes a light weight Strike Industries folding polymer brace.
That’s great, but we now live in a post-NFA world (at least for the foreseeable future), so you don’t have to limit yourself to a brace. I installed a Black Collar Arms folding carbine stock because there’s no one to tell me I can’t any more.
Finish it off with a red dot and a good can and you’ll have about as much range (or small critter hunting) fun as you can handle while shooting cheap ammo from a very affordable ($508 MSRP with brace and threaded barrel, $417 without brace) pistol.
