Henry’s Magazine-Fed Lever Action Supreme Rifle Is Finally Here!

Shooting News Weekly reported on the Henry Repeating Arms Lever Action Supreme rifle when it quietly debuted on the range last year at SHOT Show and again when it showed up at the NRA Annual Meeting in May. Well it’s finally shipping so if you’ve been waiting for one, now is the time to get one.

The Henry Lever Action Supreme

The Lever Action Supreme is chambered in your choice of .223 Rem/5.56 NATO or .300 Blackout and feeds from a box magazine. In this case, it’s a standard AR pattern mag and the gun ships with a 10-round Magpul PMAG. It also comes with a 5-round capacity limiter for compliance with hunting regulations. The box magazine eliminates the bullet design restrictions that are common with tube-fed lever action rifles.

Henry states that the Lever Action Supreme is capable of sub-MOA accuracy “with the right conditions and cartridge selection” with it’s free-floated barrel and six-lug rotating bolt face. Lever action rifles aren’t generally known for being sub-MOA guns, so that’s impressive. The barrels are also optimized for the ballistics of each caliber. The .223 Rem/5.56 NATO model uses an 18” barrel and the .300 BLK version comes with a 16.5” barrel. Barrels are threaded for use with a suppressor or muzzle device.

The Supreme uses a quad bar linkage and slider crank mechanism a level of lever-action smoothness that you’d typically only see on a custom lever gun. The adjustable trigger is match grade with a 4 pound pull. It features an internal hammer design to keep out dust, dirt, and debris. The rifle also comes with a windage and elevation adjustable trapezoidal rear sight, and steel blade front, and it’s also drilled and tapped for optics mounting. The magazine release and tang mounted safety are ambidextrous so easy to use for left or right handed shooters. It even comes with a sight and trigger adjustment tool right in the box.

The Lever Action Supreme is 100% American made at Henry’s Rice Lake, Wisconsin plant. It’s built from premium materials, including genuine American Walnut stocks and aerospace-grade aluminum receivers on modern machining and tooling. The receiver has a hard anodized black finish and the steel components are blued.

  1. no reason a 30rd shouldn’t fit.
i’ll venture into blackout (i’d rather 8.6…) when i can run a muzzler. at that point (never, basically) this would appeal.
it’s cool, i hope they sell well.

    1. Geoff "Phew. Thank God that's over! ;)" PR

I flat want one, .300 BLK subsonic, AR mags, and threaded?

I’ll just have to give up wine, women, and song for a few months…

Drat, she called, needing some intimate attentions, IYKWIM. A few months later I suppose… 😉

  2. It’s pretty neat, but the calibers are lightweights. .300BO isn’t even a decent whitetail round where I live, and forget it with elk even if it’s legal. Is this just for the suppressor bros and YT vids?

Tough sell when you can get a Ruger American that takes AR mags for about 1/3rd the cost.
