I just wish there were more intentionally left-leaning gun-makers, shops, and ranges out there, and I simply don’t see why there isn’t.
Is it taboo? Are the optics too risky? Are we just not doing it for no real reason?

I believe there is or was one in Colorado. I read about it on the TTAG website many years ago.
That is not a business that a liberal would go into. Because a gun store is “associated” with violence from the 1960s and beyond.
And liberals don’t believe in violence.
Everyone else believes that violence is necessary at certain times. And it’s acceptable and important to train for it.
This liberal gun owner should be asking. What happened to all of the high school shooting teams and 2A education that used to exist in the United States???
Because at one time, every high school in the United States had a shooting team. And all colleges and universities had shooting teams. In the early 20th century, they had both handgun and long gun shooting teams.
Liberal gun owners should spend some time reading about all the liberals. They have been voting for, and sending money to. Who they helped get elected. And then stabbed the 2A in the back. And removed all that shooting teams from the school systems in the United Sates.
This liberal gun owner knowingly has been voting for anti-civil rights h0,m0:sezu@ls like Tom Ammiano in San Francisco. And the anti 2A g@.y governors in Colorado in Massachusetts.

Because no one wants their good company name associated with a left wing atmosphere of wanting to murder, and cheering it on and begging for more.
You gotta stop and think about this for a moment: Thousands of left wingers trans and otherwise in public and on social media calling for the death of children and conservatives and basically anyone that does not agree with them, left wing democrat politicians and a left wing administration (Biden) caught red handed stealing tax payer dollars in a vast money laundering scheme via USAID and trying to impose a marx-ist sociali-st authoritarian tyranny – that is what the public is seeing from the left wing and that’s only a small part of the disaster the left wing and its democrat party has become. Do you think a firearms company/store wants their good name associated with that by visibly catering to and going all ‘left wing woke’?
and in addition to that, the vast majority of left wingers are anti-gun and the left wing has their own anti-gun organizations and the democrat politicians are all anti-gun (a few less than others), And the democrats and anti-gun orgs lie about it all the time for this ‘incrementalism tactic’ they play to chip away a little at a time at the 2A. Do you think a gun company/store is going to go all out to support the left wing when its the left wing and their anti-gun organizations and democrat politicians that wants to put them out of business? The number of left wingers that go in for guns is basically a very small market to begin with, basically a rounding error, then we see things like the libs at training camps cos playing and training with guns on how to kill school kids on a bus or kill conservatives. Do you seriously expect a gun company/store to go all out to support the left wing when its the left wing that wants to do away with them?
