Paul Markel’s ‘The Ultimate Armed Citizen: Using Pistols, Rifles, and Shotguns as Fighting Tools’

When Professor William English of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business conducted his “National Firearms Survey during the reign of the Puppet King, he discovered three important things; 1) over 84 million Americans say they own one or more firearms, 2) more that half of those stated that they carry for “self-defense,” and 3) the AR-15 is the most popular rifle  in the USA.

The new book “The Ultimate Armed Citizen: Using Pistols, Rifles and Shotguns as Fighting Tools” by Paul G. Markel was written for the benefit of all of the above. “Knowing how to shoot and understanding what it takes to morally, legally, and effectively use a firearm in a life and the death situation are not necessarily the same things.” stated Paul Markel, the founder of Student of the Gun University.

Markel continued, “As responsible citizens, we must assure that every round we fire goes into our intended target and that we are 100 percent certain that our actions follow the justifiable use of force rules.”

Within this 300 plus page manual, the reader will find the following: A Complete Glossary of Firearms Terminology, The Universal Firearms Safety Rules,Using the Pistol as a Fighting Tool, Using the Rifle as a Fighting Tool, Using the Shotgun as a Fighting Tool, How to choose the correct ammunition for Training and Personal Defense, How to use a Double Action Revolver as a Fighting Tool, Choosing Optics for Pistols, Rifles, and Shotguns, Marksmanship Principles, Use of Cover and Fighting Tactics, The Science of Sight, Understanding Silencers, Suppressors and Gun Mufflers, Choosing Practical and Useful Accessories and a Bonus Chapter on Traumatic Medical Training.

“ Within this 300 plus page manual…”, and then goes on to list over 15 topics covered. Very ambitious.
I must be taking the wrong training. My experience has been that almost each & every topic mentioned would take 300 pages .
    Especially the trauma medicine section.

I will have to procure a copy to review for myself…

When it comes to firearms and righteous self-defense: better to have and not need than to need and not have!

Wow. Just, wow. I tried posting a simple comment (just one sentence) without any words that could have possibly been in any way controversial or objectionable and this site refused to post it.
