The original idea behind the Hang-AR system was a simple one. People with more AR uppers than lower were looking for a way to store and display them neatly and conveniently. That’s what prompted the folks at Aesir Brands to dream up the original Hang-AR system with its longer plate and screw-on Picatinny clamps. It used a keymod-ish slot to hang on wall-mounted pegs.
Their new STEALTH mount is a simple, smaller design with a thin machined aluminum M-LOK base plate with a mount housing that slides on in a dovetail fashion. The mount stays in place with a small ball detent (which lets you remove it) or it can be fixed in place with a small set screw.
Once attached to your forend, your upper or the entire rifle can be hung on the included Hang-AR mounting peg that’s screwed into a wall or you can use their optional Mag Mount magnetic peg mount that can be attached to metal surfaces like your safe, the side of your truck…whatever.
It takes under five minutes to attach base plate to your rifle and slide the mount on (which can also be used as a reasonably comfortable hand stop if you want, depending on where you mount it on your rifle).
The Hang-AR comes with an aluminum mounting peg and a drywall screw. You can screw it into a stud or, if that isn’t convenient, the included drywall anchor works really well, too. That’s what I used to mount the peg inside a closet.
Hang-AR’s Mag Mount lets you put a peg on any steel surface such as the side of your safe.
It’s rubber backed and pretty aggressive. I’m mot sure what its rated poundage is, but it’s more than strong enough to hold any AR you’re going to try to hang.
If you don’t have kids at home (or if you do and want to use a trigger lock of some kind), you can easily mount the included mounting peg inside a closet to keep an AR handy for that dreaded bump-in-the-night scenario.
The Hang-AR is simple, easy to install and does exactly what you want it to do. The basic Hang-AR STEALTH gun mount for one rifle with a standard mounting peg runs $79.99. The Mag Mount is $59.99.

Sooo… if ya forget to lift up then out towards you and instead just grab for it and pull ya can look forward to damaging your hand guard and possibly wall.
