A Leftist’s Prescription for What Ails America: Cookies and Gun Ownership

An assault weapons ban would “be a massive hit to our business,” [Tarik] Alduri said.

[MagnaBerry West owner Sid] Allen explained the manufacturing process in the crowded detached garage that doubles as a storage space, surrounded by beakers, leftover plastic and a custom-built UV oven made from two-by-fours. He first prints the parts with a resin 3D printer and then dips those parts into an acetone-based solvent mixture before curing them in the UV oven.

Not apparent in the garage was the painstaking months-long process of perfecting the model, which included experimenting with different mixes of resin and crafting an algorithm to correct the curvature that a line of bullets make when lined up. Not counting different resins, Allen estimated he’s made 300 prototypes before the current speedloader, which allows the user to push 15 dummy rounds into an AR-15 magazine with ease.

Modifying the current model for handguns would be another obstacle.

But their devotion to gun rights — including the right to own so-called assault rifles — goes beyond self-interest, they said.

“I don’t think the issue is guns,” Alduri said, sporting a MangaBerry West cap. “It’s the fact that we just don’t care about each other, and that’s what makes it easier for somebody like Trump to come in and have ICE agents running around straight up kidnapping people.”

Alduri’s mantra, which he said at the gun show and at home, where he and Allen are roommates, is that the two best things you can do as a citizen are to bring your neighbors cookies and buy a gun.

Cookies to build community, and a gun to protect that community.

“What we see right now in the U.S. is that there’s been this destruction of community because we’re all being worked to the bone by some billionaire,” Alduri said.

Alduri studies political science and international relations and wants to go into immigration law or politics. His parents immigrated from Bosnia and Iraq — both war-stricken places.

Alduri said the current political climate gives him reason to consider self-defense.

“Am I expected to trust the American government or American cops to protect me? No, I don’t, quite frankly,” Alduri said.

Many of his fellow Democrats seem to agree; gun ownership is rising among Democrats, the Wall Street Journal reported last year.

[Riley] Dahlberg’s argument mirrors what Republican gun rights advocates often said during the Obama and Biden presidencies: that guns offer protection against a tyrannical government.

Even though “there’s this idea that the US military would just crush people,” Dahlberg said, the presence of guns “has ensured that tyranny hasn’t spread, because people think it wouldn’t go very well for them as a dictator” in a country with more civilian guns than people.

  1. An assault weapons ban would “be a massive hit to our business.

You would vote for this. You are a moron.

…and have ICE agents running around straight up kidnapping people.

Also known as capturing criminals. You are a moron.

…we’re all being worked to the bone by some billionaire.

Would your money go further if things weren’t 20% more expensive? Would your business be more profitable with fewer regulations and taxes? Would you prefer that wages weren’t intentionally suppressed? Would you prefer the supply and demand of housing to be in your favor? You voted for Democrats. You own this. You are a moron. Go back to Iraq. You don’t have American values because you have no cultural ties to this country. That’s why you vote for commies.

Limit legal immigration and end anchor babies. That’s how we reclaim the country.

    1. “Worked to the bone by some billionaire”. Wow, I didn’t know slavery was still a thing. Don’t like how your boss treats you? Go work somewhere else. But without those billionaires, there wouldn’t be the huge companies that provide jobs, goods, and services to nearly everyone. The people who own those companies took risks and deserve to be rewarded. It’s jealousy.

      1. top,

        “It’s jealousy.”

Best two-word description of the left I’ve seen in quite some time.

What’s that old line? “They hate us ’cause they ain’t us.” Yep, that sounds about right.

  2. Is it caring about each other that enables these people to look the other way when illegals rape, rob and murder only to be let back on the street?

I just want some clarity on who exactly is caring for who.

    1. Its pretty clear the left wing and their democrat politicians care for criminals, criminal illegal aliens, men pretending to be women, pedophiles, killing conservatives, communism, overthrowing the country and lying and stealing.

They have pretty much made that clear.

  3. I read the article.

“The group doesn’t take gun ownership lightly, and they do agree with Democrats on certain gun restrictions. Binary triggers, which fire one shot when the trigger is pulled down and another upon release, “are an extremely bad idea and need to be illegal,” Allen said, since it forces the shooter to have to release a second round. “It’s inherently unsafe.”

“They also said they support laws mandating waiting periods before purchasing a gun and safe storage laws that would require that guns be kept in a gun safe.”

Never ever trust a liberal gun owner. Saying they think like a communist is exactly correct.

As chairman Mao once said, “power flows out the end of a gun barrel.”

The problem is lazy people haven’t read his entire quote.

Because he said after he beat the Chinese government and took over. He wanted all the guns confiscated.

Liberal gun owners are not your friends. Liberal gun owners are not allies. Liberal gunners gun owners are stooges.

Like I said before, the “gun community” has never supported the bumpstock.

“That’s just a waste of ammunition”

The “gun community” is comfortable when the Obama/Biden administration flooded, civilian police departments with select fire weapons, all over the United States.

    1. Binary triggers can cancel the release by taking the safety off binary. Many, many people fought against the banning of bump stocks and supported overturning the ban.

      1. The “gun community” really needs to start being honest when it comes to rapid fire weapons. Or grenades, or bazookas, or artillery pieces, etc, etc.

Not only do you have the civil right to own keep and bear these things. But you have responsibilities that go with owning them as well.

Most gun ranges cannot accommodate machine guns. Also their insurance many times will not allow the business to have machine guns be fired there. And most gun ranges , particularly the old ones , were not built to even handle a 556/223 cartridge.

You will probably have to travel, possibly far out of your way. To even train with these weapons.

Just as homemade technology produced the “glock switch”. Technology will eventually produce low cost version, homemade versions, of rocket launchers and artillery pieces.

I look forward to the 3D printed bazooka. I have already seen people with their own homemade panzer faust.

And it really isn’t a good idea that black teenage boys, raise without fathers should be running around with machine pistols.

Even though the white libertarians the white liberals and the white leftists disagree with the christians when the christians said a father’s love and discipline is necessary in the home.

And if you have any pictures of white teenage boys running around with machine pistols??? Please send those pictures in.
