We have more guns in this country than we have humans. So one of the things that is going to be important is to create a registry so we know where the guns are. We know when they go into the wrong hands when they’re stolen. And we can actually start a buyback program. I know that some of the Minnesota legislators have had that legislation and that’s something that we should be thinking about on a federal level.

You want to know where they are so you can confiscate them and call it a ‘buy back’ – in reality the ‘buy back’ you want is a confiscation because you are given the choice to sell your gun to the government for some stupid low price of pennies on the dollar or go to jail and they take them anyway, in other words ‘forced confiscation’. We already know what the democrats mean when they say ‘buy back’ as a government program, they told us during the Biden tyranny.
A registry does nothing about telling you where guns go when they are stolen. How really stupid do you need to be to think this.? You seriously think a person who steals a gun is going to register it? You think a gun being on a registry tells you who stole it?

Yeah, so, like, a registry accomplishes none of that but, uh, okay.
If they want us to believe their stated intent of implementing a thing then that thing should at least appear to implement the intent.
The only things registries accomplish are a mechanism for taxing and licensing and a starting point for confiscation. It wouldn’t even accomplish those goals fully but that’s really all they’re good for.
Oh, and placing blame on victims of theft of course. Today’s Democrats are all about blaming the victim.
