SilencerCo Hybrid 46M Suppressor – One Can to Rule Them All?

It’s true that wait times for eForm 4 filings are now a tiny fraction of what they used to be. As of today, it’s averaging a mere three days. And that’s the average. Lots of people are getting approvals the same day they process their application.

That’s very good news for people who have been thinking about making the leap and buying their first suppressor. Sadly, though, the NFA is still the law of the land. That means you’re still required to pay $200 for the privilege of purchasing each suppressor you choose to buy.

That’s what makes a can like the SilencerCo Hybrid 46M so attractive. It’s modular and almost infinitely configurable to handle virtually any centerfire gun you want to shoot all they way up to .458 SOCOM. It’s also full-auto rated, whether you’re using it in its shorty mode or in its full-length configuration.

I just looked at trying to purchase that very suppressor. And … it is indefinitely back-ordered. If there was a definite turn-around time, I might have ordered one.

Our beloved ATF’s turn-around time on electronic Form 4 submissions for suppressors is allegedly very short. I submitted two electronic Form 4s for trusts a week ago. Now I am playing the waiting game. The rumor mill believes that my Form 4s will take longer to return because they are the very first that I have ever submitted. Time will tell (hopefully soon).

In the meantime I have ordered barrel thread adapters and will be ordering threaded barrels–although I am thinking of waiting to order my threaded barrels until fedzilla graciously grants me my tax stamps.

Check capitol armory. Ordered mine from there 2 months ago and just got it. It has been back ordered literally everywhere else for MONTHS
