Neon Forest Industries Adds Resin MP5 Handguards

I had a chance to work with Neon Forest Industries 1911 and AR grips earlier this year. They have a slick retro futuristic style look with their translucent amber resin composition. Think of the pistol that Deckard uses in the original Blade Runner movie. Well they’re back, but this time they have the MP5 in their sights.

Resin MP5 Handguards

The new MP5 handguards are made from the same amber colored resin as the 1911 and AR grip that I worked with before. It’s a tough material and well executed by Neon Forest. It has excellent color and clarity, and even has the Neon Forest Logo embedded in the side of the handguard. It’s a slick logo, but discrete. It’s a nice touch but isn’t glaringly obvious like some companies branding, but its there when you look closely.

The the Neon Forest resin handguards are designed to fit any full sized MP5 or clone. While there isn’t a matching MP5 grip available so far, you can use their resin AR grip if you have an MP5 style lower than can accept one, like an Aeroknox or Lee Sporting model.

Like their AR and 1911 grips, the Neon Forest MP5 resin handguard is a neat upgrade to your MP5 based pistol or carbine. It’s a functional but stylish option if you want something a little different than everyone else on the range.
