An exhibit showing victims of gun violence has been taken down at the headquarters of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Department of Justice has confirmed.
The exhibit showed the portraits of 120 people killed in gun violence. A digital kiosk with biographies of each person was also part of the exhibit. An online version has also been taken down. …
[Brady president Kris] Brown views the DOJ’s decision to take down the exhibit as political and an example of the Trump administration’s efforts to roll back firearms regulations.
“What they want to do is deny the reality that gun violence exists and that makes me very angry,” said Brown. “What we will see over time is absolutely a rise in gun violence; we will see a rise in homicide; we will see a rise in suicide; we will see a rise in unintentional injury of kids with guns in the home.”

I’d say replace it with victims of the ATF, but they may take that as a trophy room.
Do they also have a display of all the people killed by drunks? That is what that “A” is for, right?
When some urban mutual combat breaks out it’s a national tragedy and everyone’s rights need to be taken away but when Javier Ortiz-De la cruz-la Hoya the fifth gets sauced and plows unlicensed and uninsured and undocumented into a car of high school kids it’s somehow the kids fault for not being tolerant enough.
Wasn’t somebody from DHS, ICE, the ATF or even the DMV available to avert such a tragedy?
Where’s the wall of medical malpractice victims?
CNN blurred the pictures of violent criminal illegals on the White House lawn the other day. These people fight tooth and nail for violent criminals. They really stepped up their game since 2020.

As the population grows the raw number of shootings should be expected to grow, but not the rate.
BTW, can any anti-gun activist point towards a study showing a specific gun control law that is linked to a reduction in shootings?
Guarantee there are some. But they are only effective if you actually prosecute violators and sentence them appropriately.
There might be such a study if the government routinely enforced the felon with firearm law against violent felons instead of claiming that doing so is a waste of resources.
Again, it’s an ‘identity’ thing. It’s about their ‘identity’ as Gun Violence ‘victims’*, rather than victims of crime. Which, BTW, is not the ATF’s job. They shouldn’t even be involved (except to help trace firearms used in a crime, maybe) in crime solving, really. Their job as relates to firearms, should be regulations, safety, and maybe fraud. Crimes should be handled by local and state cops, except where federal law has been broken – and that should be handled by whomever replaces the F.B.I. (Always say that in Hans Gruber a voice.)
(* I’m guessing at least one of them was probably a bad guy turned into a victim by the grievance industry. Hence the scare quotes.)
Stupid auto-cucumber.
That should be “Hans Gruber’s voice”.
So putting up the photos was apolitical but taking them down was political.
Uh huh.
I can’t help but notice the lack of photos of lynching victims who had been disarmed by Democrat gun control laws. That used to be so common that Kluxers made picture post cards of the events and sent them through the US Mail.
