SHOT Show: CIVIVI Sendy Flipper EDC Knife

The SHOT Show isn’t all about guns. There is a lot of related gear there including knives of all shapes, sizes and purposes. One of those that caught my eye was the new Sendy from CIVIVI Knives. The Sendy is designed by Ben Petersen of Knaf’s Knives and looks like a great choice for everyday carry.

CIVIVI had two models on display, a satin finished blade with green G10 handle and an all blacked out model. Both have a 2.83-inch spey point blade of Nitro-V stainless and open via a front flipper mechanism.

The Sendy locks up with a liner lock and has a deep carry pocket clip. It opens smoothly and quickly and has a positive lockup. Fit and finish are excellent, as I’ve come to expect from CIVIVI.

This is a nice, classic style knife, built with modern materials and touches. One of the things I find especially neat is that it has a set if tweezers and a toothpick, much like a Swiss Army Knife. It’s a little thing, but it adds to the EDC function.

MSRP is a very reasonable $74.70 and they’re available now on CIVIVI’s website.
