Jeremy and I shot the hell out of a couple of TriStar’s very affordable Turkish-made shotguns on a Dove hunt in south Texas. We shot the Viper G2 in 12 gauge and the Raptor II model in soft-shooting 20 gauge. Both were suppressed and, aside from some 3-inch ammo-related issues with the 20 gauge gun, they ran flawlessly. If you’re looking for a shotgun for the field that will leave you plenty of money for good hunting loads, TriStar has a couple of really attractive options.
